Twice lately I’ve tried to get food here. First time I sit at the window for about 20 minutes and then the woman tells me she can’t fill my order tenders are frozen that I have to request a refund in the app. I did that and never got a response. I go in and ask if I can just get me food. Nope have to wait on the app so I call the 1800 number and they say it’s been took care. Still no refund. Second time the guy at the window was really nice but it still took over a hour for tenders. 2 combos. We watched one of the guys go into waiting room a couple times eating tenders himself. And getting himself drinks. We watched them serve four cars before us that had a lot of food. We ordered it ahead of time too.

On Tuesday, August 11, 2020, after 7:30 pm; I went to Church’s Chicken on 94 Allison Bonnet Memorial Run. I passed it earlier because I had an appointment I needed to go to. But, I saw the sign about the Fire Smoke House Combo and to my surprise when I came back and I got in line at the Drive-Thru they asked me to try it and I said Yes and Thank you. I tell you it’s at a good price, and you get a nice half size fire smoke chicken and Believe you me even the skin was crispy and good. I only ate some and put the rest in the refrigerator.
Next, he asked if I wanted to change my side and make my drink a large. I only substituted my mash potatoes and gravy for corn on the cob and yes it was good too. (Could have used more butter). However, my Drink wasn’t flat and that’s definitely a PLUS, A HUGE PLUS! ( Always take a couple of sips of your drink to make sure it’s good) I also ordered the Lemonade box pie with a graham cracker crust and it was very good too. My honey biscuit was fresh, soft and very tasty.
I didn’t have to wait a long time either even though there we’re already about 5 to 6 cars ahead of me. Next, when I moved from the window, I found my pie was missing and I had to get out of my car and knocked on the door and they immediately brought me my pie.
Therefore, I dropped them to 4 stars instead of 5. But even though that happened. I definitely will go back and get the same thing again. I’m expecting amazing and delicious fresh food again, and good customer service too. I definitely recommend you go there and try out the Fire Smokehouse Chicken Combo. If you love and want something different in chicken then get the Fire Smokehouse. I have enclosed the pictures so you can see for yourself. Look how large is it, and my corn on the cob too.

The staff here is always fantastic! The food is always on point. If you’re looking for a place to get some chicken, this is it. The parking lot is fenced off because they are doing work. It’s not really inconvenient. Just make sure that you’re alerts when you drive through so you don’t hit anybody or any fences.

I don’t think I am ever going back. They are slow, so very slow, and most of the time the food is not fresh and sucks. Out of 10 times ordering fries you get fresh ones once, if that. Not only that, they have gotten rid of corn on the cob (at least on DoorDash) and that was one of the reasons I liked going there. In fact, if I find out that they have discontinued their corn on the cob I don’t think I am eating at Churches chicken any more at all. It is a shame too because back in the day they were the best.
