I haven’t been to this churches since the early 2000’s which was my favorite then. On my way back to my hometown, I stopped by to see if they were still good? However, they never disappoint me! I haven’t found another Popeyes or Churches better than this one in Albany Ga! I enjoyed my time eating in the parking lot while watching the entertainment around me! It wasn’t a dull moment at all! The food was absolutely delicious! I ate every single crumb and I can’t remember ever doing that unless I’m at home! The white lady with the purple box braids at the window really make churches run smooth! She was so nice to my dog and I at the window! As a retired army veteran, whose an introvert, I can honestly say next time I pass through, I will sit down inside because I will definitely be back. Thank you churches for your awesome experience! Y’all made me feel really good! Even the young black boy was so respectful! He seen me still in the parking lot and he walked up to my car and asked if I needed or wanted anything else. I told him I was good and that made me feel good!

If I could give zero stars I would. I just moved to Albany from another state. This was my first and LAST experience with this restaurant. I ordered the Texas sized grande meal – 8 dark, 8 tenders, 3 sides, 6 biscuits – placed my order through the CHURCHES CHICKEN app at 6, food was supposed to be delivered by 7, didn’t get it until almost 9. Order was completely wrong – got nothing but legs and thighs, no tenders. Person delivering the order called to tell me the order was wrong, and when asked to be corrected, the employees said it would take too long to fix because they closed at 11, even though it was only 8pm. I requested a refund online because I spent $58 on good for my family – entirely too much money for my order to be wrong and employees to be rude about fixing it. The manager called the next day to asked what happened. After I told her what happened with my meal not getting fixed, she laughed and said her employees would never do that and that I needed to seek my refund from DoorDash and not the store itself. She said she would call me back after reaching out to DoorDash about my refund, and here I am a week later with no contact and no refund. I will NEVER waste money here again, and I WILL be calling corporate on this branch to file a complaint about my experience, the employees, as well as the manager that called on 12/14.

I placed an online order on Christmas Eve around 8 pm. I received notification that my order was ready. When I arrived, I proceeded to walk inside, I was told that the lobby was closed. It appeared that my order was ready ( I saw a few to-go bags) She told me to pick it up in the drive-thru. After waiting about 30 minutes, a young lady came out. She visited the cars that were in line, I assume she told some that if they did not have an online order that they were closed. The cars that had online orders, she instructed us to stay inline. Needles to say, it was a waste of time – over an hour – and was unable to receive a refund or complimentary item.

I waited outside for my food for over 30 minutes and had to go inside to pick it up. When I got the food home, half of my sides were missing and there was plastic all in my Mac and cheese. We eat here often and have never had such bad service as we did today. We will just go somewhere else next time

I will say this and I mean it. The service is straight trash! Didn’t have my change to give back, store didn’t open on time at all….But that spicy chicken hits!! I mean the person cooking that chicken is their saving grace period and I have no complaints about that chicken period, but everything else is unacceptable. And they forgot my biscuits and thank God she didn’t charge me because goodness service was ridiculous.

No need to go back in and try to fix this bc you knew what you was doing when you put the food in there. It was intentional. You wouldn’t eat this Mac n Cheese at home. I WOULDN’T EAT IT AT HOME. So why serve it ??!!!!

Usually when I go here it’s good but this time I was very disappointed. My meal went from 6.99 and total ended up being $14 I understand there’s to be an upcharge for upsizing, only way I see it jumping like that is if they charged me for my 2pc meal then added my sides as extra orders, and not just upsizing my sides, my biscuit looks like it’s over saturated and un appetizing. I’m on my lunch break and didn’t have time to go in and get it fixed. Hoping they do better next time, this was just an overall disappointment.

Not gonna lie, if I owned a church’s chicken and the employees for my location closed the restaurant 30 minutes to 1 hour early everyday, I would be pissed. Missing sales in this economy ain’t it.

There customer service is not good at all the workers are arguing about food and box client asked about someone else touched his food and even manager is arguing she is on the phone e with someone higher and in front of the person they are making them feel bad . It’s Dirty.

The cashier will surely get the right amount from you for your food purchase, but she want make sure that you get the correct food that you ordered. All she offers is a weak !!!Sorry. Happened three times in a row Be sure to check your food before you leave.
