Fresh, hot and crispy fried chicken.
It was delicious!
Service was good, they weren’t friendly at all, but that’s ok.
Atmosphere was ok, main door was still locked, restaurant had been open for about 30 minutes – I thought maybe they changed their hours even through the sign gave the hours of operation. I mentioned it to them, (3 were behind the counter), but they didn’t respond.
I’ll ignore it as long as the food is good.

Ask for fresh hot chicken, my order was correct biscuits were even soft as well.

The fries were bland, unseasoned and unsalted. The tenders were okay but they only gave us 1 pack of sauce. The Coke was okay but they filled ice all the way to the top so there was less Coke in the cup which was medium sized. The biscuit was okay. The apple pie was okay. The chicken sandwich was quishy and flat with no crunch or seasoning added. And to top it off, as the only vehicle in the drive-thru, I was surprised because after we got our food which took awhile, I stayed at the window, and said “Excuse me! Can we have some ketchup please?” There were literally 3 people standing right at the window and they completely ignored me for several minutes. They had just handed me our food so they knew I was still there. I waited another 30 seconds or so until it became very obvious that they had no intention of ever acknowledging me or my request for a single pack of ketchup after having just spent almost $19 at their establishment. We ordered 2 combo meals with fries and got zero ketchup with our order. All we got was one pack of Honey Mustard sauce. My son wasn’t happy with the quality of the food and the lack of sauces and dips. Without me asking him, after he ate, he told me that he never wanted to eat there again. Prior to that experience he was really looking forward to eating there. That was our first time ever eating at a Church’s Fried Chicken and it will definitely be our last time.

I think they’re trying to save money by skimping on sauces and drinks but it comes off as bad business to customers, especially when they completely ignore you. We’ve been to hundreds of drive-thru’s, and so we know very well how most other drive-thru employees respond to customer’s requests for extra sauces, etc. which 10 out of 10 times is “Sure”. And then they hand however many packs you want. If they charge extra for sauces, they tell you that instead of completely ignoring your existence as if you’re invisible. How bizarre. No wonder there was no other customers in the restaurant or drive-thru but us.

Grease was old tasting and food was cold! Okra and biscuit in the same bag! Also didn’t get all of my change! I’m short a dollar. Walked away after giving my food! Basically I’m out of $15 because I didn’t eat none of it! Threw away okra. Chicken is in the fridge! 9 pcs chicken wings wasn’t fresh and grease needs changing! I used to go to this location a lot! I’m no longer going to this location due to fear of food poisoning!

The food here was PHENOMENAL! My kids and I stopped by on our way home. The staff {Nyesha and the owner Hameed} made sure our food was fresh. He even came out to the lobby to make sure we didn’t need anything and brought additional condiments. The lobby was clean and welcoming with the TV playing! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING HERE !!!!

I ordered on line today 11/22/2025 at 1:44pm. Order # 39701057293238273 on the web receipt and check # 251122185401128 on the paper receipt. I ordered 10 pcs chicken, lg coleslaw and mash potatoes and gravy. This chicken had to have been cooked the day before. The chicken was very hard and crusty. A non chicken worker would have known not to sell a customer this chicken. Seven out of ten pieces of chicken were unacceptable. My last time at Church’s in Lawrenceville, Ga New Hope Rd location.

The absolute WORST fast food customer experience ever. These people act like they don’t even want to be working. I placed an order in the drive thru and the woman working kept replying with “WHAT?” in the loudest rudest manner. When I got to the window to pay, she acted like she had no clue what to do. When handing me my food she not only threw all the food in the bag, but she had zero manners and acted like she never heard the words “thank you have a nice day.” By far the most UNPROFESSIONAL experience ever, and I will not be going here again until new management is present. Shame on this establishment.

I stop here about 2 times a month if I want chicken because its the only place in the area, its clean and the price is ok for what you get. This has to be the DRIEST, FLAVORLESS chicken on the planet. When you bite into it there is ZERO juiciness, just dry. Their sides are mediocre and ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS SAD/SCARED LOOKING BECAUSE THE OWNER’S WIFE YELLS AND DEGRADED THEM IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS! I witness this twice, there was a new hire and apparently he was not catching on as fast as she wanted him to. She shouted “Do you hear me, what is wrong with you!” One employee told me that they ARE NOT allowed to talk amongst themselves or chat with customers UNLESS ITS ABOUT THEIR ORDER. If you want GREAT service and good, fresh, juicy chicken from Churches go to the one in MONROE, GA. WALTON COUNTY!

Management is extremely rude and they’re so cheap here they make the experience terrible. They don’t want to give you sauces and the manager had a fit because I grabbed a spork from the counter. They only cook chicken to order and you can’t make your own drink. The dining room fountain machine is shut down and the one machine they do have working is set to water the drinks down. I switched from an arnold palmer to a fanta and they were both disgusting!! They rarely have enough chicken ready so you have to wait a super long time! It took 15 minutes for my large okra to be ready and they served me a regular. The manager tried to deny me the survey offer, saying that church’s discontinued it altogether which was a blatant lie. All in all this is an absolute horrible representation of church’s and the only good reviews are from the owners and their friends/relatives!! The employees are treated and spoken to so poorly I feel for them every time I come here. I honestly don’t even know how they’re still open!

I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS EVER!!!! I LOVE CHURCHES BUT THIS ONE TOOK THE CAKE FOR ME!! I put a order in for my husband to pick up while I was at work he goes to pick up the order next thing he knows the manager or whoever (I DONT KNOW BECAUSE I WAS AT WORK) asks him for his ID because he doesn’t believe he put the order in or is not capable of picking it up because he’s not me. I sent my husband the confirmation I received via text and they STILL WOULDNT GIVE HIM THE ORDER.. THEY ARGUED AFTER IT HAD ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR ASKING FOR UNNECESSARY INFORMATION JUST TO PICK UP CHICKEN… CHICKEN!!!!! I have put orders in at chilis A NICER ESTABLISHMENT and my husband or anyone else who I as to HAS BEEN ABLE TO PICK IT UP… The manager tried to use his authority or what he may think he has to tell him he couldn’t pick it up and when I had my husband put me on speaker to let him know I’m the person he’s picking up food for the manager or WHOEVER HE WAS begins to tell me “ Well sue me I don’t know who he is” WHY DOES IT MATTER ITS BEEN. PAID FOR!!! DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL BE GETTING IN CONTACT WITH CORPORATE
