One of Burlington’s top destination spots since 1995, the Church Street Tavern is known for its extensive beer and wine selections, as well as some of the best and most affordable pub food in town.
Much more than a typical sports bar, the Church Street Tavern’s menu has a little something for everyone.
Easygoing taproom specializing in beer, pub fare & TV sports, plus people-watching from its patio.

I got the nachos, which were amazing, also ordered was the chicken bacon each wrap, and a burger, all were great! The atmosphere is nice, and they have a little room off to the side for big parties.

Weird flex but the napkins here are the best quality I’ve ever experienced from a paper napkin. We had the espresso martini and Irish coffee for drinks. Just add the baileys, its worth it. Got the mango shrimp app, fantastic. Got the turkey club with the tater tots. Incredible. Husband got the tavern burger, excellent. Couldn’t recommend this place more! The atmosphere is so welcoming. We were waited on by Elliza and she was so funny and friendly. Go here!

Terrible food – bartender has a rotten attitude. Was more interested in her friends at the end of the bar than the customers. Shrimp and sauce were painfully bland. Chicken parm sliders had no cheese and were basically chicken tenders on a bun with sauce out of a can. I dont know which was worse – the grumpy gal behind the counter or the food! Skip this place – it sucks.

Wow! I’m not sure what that Marc guy is talking about but my experience was amazing! Best gin and tonic i’ve ever had, and what really made my experience worthwhile was the service! My bartender, I believe her name was Maddie, was just so wonderful and charming. Will be coming back soon!!

Walking down church street we found this place and the staff was phenomenal. Friendly , attentive and quick. I had a vegetarian option while my partner enjoyed his beef burger. We enjoyed the food and the drinks were great! Highly recommend

My wife and I just had a great, fun experience for lunch. The food was very good and reasonably priced. But what really enhanced our experience was our wonderful server, Elliza. She was bubbly, fun and had a great sense of humor. She greeted and addressed us as “friends”. I’m sure that she does that with all of her customers, but we found it to be charming and even endearing. Her engaging personality is a gift to all the people she serves. We saw another young woman server that also had great interactions with those she served. I hope that management realizes how important servers like this are to their business.

Loved dining outside on Church Street at the Tavern! Our food was delicious and really hit the spot after a 6 hour drive! I love how dog friendly this restaurant was; they provided a water bowl for our pup! Would definitely go back again!

I was very happy with the visit to the historic church street marketplace and the stop at the Tavern did not disappoint. I enjoyed the patio weather and the sights. The service was friendly and fast most of the time. I did have to go in to pay as the waitress was busy eating her lunch inside even though I had requested the bill 10 minutes before, which was annoying.
The food was decent for pub fare. Wings, salad and a wrap were ordered and enjoyed. The bloody Mary was not very good to be honest, but it was well presented.
Overall I’d stop by again.

Great wings and a nice atmosphere. Outdoor seating was available as well. Ask the bartender about four shots and a ski. The iced tea, was a little on the not so good side. Other than that it was very good.

Atmosphere was a bit off although it was a Saturday afternoon. Had a drink a piece for my wife and I. Service was quick, but the bartender seemed to lack some personality, seeming to not even crack a smile with coworkers. The drinks where fantastic, cucumber jalapeno margarita with a spice rim was shockingly good. And the tavern splash was refreshing, everything else aside.
