I had dinner here recently and had a great experience. Loco was my waiter and he absolutely nailed it. He was funny, attentive, and made some of the best margaritas I’ve had, using Teremana Tequila.
The food was just as good. I ordered the 3 Mexican taco meal and it was excellent. Everything came out fresh and full of flavor. Between the great service, great margaritas, and great food, this place is definitely worth stopping by.

Would like to rate 3.5 because food was really good but margaritas are important to us and they were really not very good. We would have stayed and gone to the bar after dinner but went somewhere else instead since the margaritas were watery and tasteless. Including the Texas margarita. Too bad.

Average. Nothing bad really. Food came fast.
Burrito average.( One of my favorite foods)
IMO they should work on wanting to keep people there. Like it’s not a bad atmosphere but one that could incorporate a sense of “stay as long as you like.” A sense of inviting…I admit this is hard. But nothing stands out. It’s just fine. It’s cool. It’s okay.

Here for a big group event and enjoyed their fresh guacamole and queso for an appetizer. Their steak fajitas were delicious as was their jalapeño margarita.

My friend and I ordered some tacos and guacamole from this place and there was a bug found in a sealed container of the food. She called the restaurant about the concern and they said that their kitchen is pristine and there’s no way the bug was in the food and must’ve snuck in the bag, but it was in a SEALED CONTAINER of food. Pictures demonstrate the type of container, the bug in the food, as well as the bug pulled out of food to demonstrate that it was in fact a bug. if I could give 0 stars I would

Decent Mexican food in sandy springs. It used to be called El Azteca, but rebranded to Chupitos Azteca Grille. We ordered takeout, so this review is just for the food and not the dine-in experience.
We ordered guacamole & chips, basic nachos with ground beef, chicken quesadilla, and shrimp fajitas. My bf enjoyed his chicken quesadilla and ground beef nachos! Personally, I wasn’t really feeling the nachos at all. The guacamole was terrible – it was brown and unflavored. I couldn’t taste any lime or cilantro or salt. Would not order this here ever.
My shrimp fajitas were really tasty! There were 11 seasoned shrimps and tons of sautéed onions and bell peppers. It came with refried beans with cheese, rice, 3 flour tortillas, sour cream and guac. Our meal also came with fresh chips and salsa, which were good. Overall, pretty decent food if you are in the mood for Mexican!

Just ordered from here and we must say this is the best Mexican food we have tried this far! Beautiful well balanced flavours.
Review update: still a fantastic place, I have now also eaten here with my colleagues a few times and their service is incredible. I recently also found out they were open during the recent snow storm to feed the local Dunwoody PD!

Nice last minute family eat out place. Everybody enjoyed their food. My only complaint is that everytime I say no guac no sour cream, everything that I order comes back with guac and sour cream. But other than that no complaints, food was good. Also very huge tv screens for those interested in going and watching sports events. Apparently, they’ve rebranded since I visited a month ago?

Our local Dunwoody Fine Arts Association hung some paintings here during October’s Fine Arts Month. I had never been to this restaurant, but this was where I was assigned (among some other artists) for my art. While we were hanging the art in the restaurant, the staff was really friendly. While there, I checked out the menu and decided that I would bring my husband back in the next week for dinner. Being from California, I am a true lover of Mexican food and have a high standard concerning this genre. Personally, I judge a Mexican restaurant on its rice and beans. It may sound funny, but these are often the basics for many Mexican dishes, so I put a lot of weight on the taste and preparation of these two common sides. The rice was outstanding, as were the black beans. I ordered as my main dish the taquitos, and they were delicious. They were served with a creamy guac, which was very tasty. The side pico de gallo was a nice compliment to the mild creamy guac, as it had a definite bite. Also impressive is the table salsa served with chips…perfectly seasoned with just a little kick. (I like it that way). We all enjoyed our dinners, and feel I have found my new favorite local spot for Mexican food! Note: I have some food allergies, and though I didn’t mention them to our waiter, my food arrived per my request, minus the dairy. They are attentive to details. (the photo was taken the day we were hanging the art)
