The best Chinese food! I’ve been eating here for 30 years. My favorite is still the breaded, Princess Chicken. The dark, red sauce is not quite like sweet n sour. It is not spicy even though it says it is spicy on the menu. Meals are cheaper at lunch. The lunch specials come with fried rice and choice of two items: soup, egg roll, or crab rangoon. These are the best egg rolls I’ve ever eaten. Not too cabagey. At night, they serve white rice. You have to ask for fried. The soup, egg rolls, and crab rangoon come separately.

If I could give this a 0 I would! Waited over 45 minutes to get our food. When we did get our food, the fried rice smelled and tasted like coffee, the crab Rangoon was DRIPPING with oil, the dumplings were tasteless, my cashew chicken had burnt pieces of chicken all throughout it, my daughters schezwan shrimp, that is supposed to be spicy, wasn’t at all, couldn’t taste the shrimp and there was a hint of coffee smell to it. The lo mein noodles needed to be soaked in soy sauce to get past the coffee smell and taste.
$77 later when we told the waitress/owner, whoever she was, that everything wasn’t good, all we got was a shrug of the shoulders! No offer to take any money off the bill, no apologies, NOTHING!!!
Save your time, money and frustration and go ANYWHERE else. Most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted.

The woman who always waits on us is always very kind even though we go so close to closing time. She always offers to change tv channel to whatever we like and is very pleasant, attentive and food is always fresh! Price is a little high but what isn’t anymore? Still would like if this was a buffet with more options readily available but the fresh cooked food is always very good too. Even though it cost more than your typical chinese buffet, the food quality and service is worth it.

I grew up with this place and still miss it years later. It always has the best princess chicken and sweet and sour chicken I’ve ever had. It deserves a higher star rating… I can’t find a place even close to being as good (always fresh, hot and amazing) in greater Des Moines.

Not sure why some of these reviews came in, but the food was very very good. I ordered the chicken egg foo young and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. If you want a majestic restaurant atmosphere, go to Disney World. I came here for the awesome food and I got it.

Went here for dinner and ordered the dinner for three and ended up with more food than three people should eat! All good, appetizers need a little more flavor/spices but were still good. Hot and sour soup was great!

We got 2 dinner orders to go yesterday with a Crab Rangoon appetizer. Food was delicious and had plenty. The meals come with steamed rice instead of fried rice. I would order mine with fried rice next time. Didn’t get any fortune cookies.

We used to love this place. Today had a bill for almost $100 for 6 people and most of the food was left on the table. Broccoli beef and Mongolian beef was burned. Fried rice – burned. Three chicken dishes not the same, looked the same, none of it edible. Almond chicken flavorless, and egg rolls had a strange taste. One would think if a whole table of customers leaves food and says no to take home boxes they might ask how the food was. I don’t think they cared. Disappointed big time.
