My partner and I were driving around and happened this place. Needless to say, the meal was satisfying and we were left pleasantly satisfied. I had roasted duck and pork belly, the pork belly was particularly succulent and crispy. The portions were also generous, dining area was comfortable, and the food came fast. Will definitely return in the future.

Good place to get quick, cheap, and casual Chinese food! You order at the counter and the food comes in a take out container. Good portion sizes, lots of flavor. The roasted pork was more fatty than I’d like but good. I’d come back!

I have been seeing a lot of hype for this restaurant so was in the area today an decided to give it a try. Atmosphere was tiny an crowded the lay out of tithe front area is overly crowded to get it you have to get through a line of people waiting to order an pick up. Ordered a whole Peking duck didn’t receive any legs with my order or neck. Appears the oil was old as well an not crispy. Orders a whole royal chicken flavor was ok a little dry compared to sinh sinh. An finally the roasted pig which they replaced with roasted belly. Skin was very chewy an stuck to our teeth. So overall it was OK but not great especially when comparing quality to the pricing . Bill was around 125.00

If you’re looking for authentic and incredibly flavorful Chinese BBQ, this is the spot. The roasted duck, roasted pork belly, and char siu were all delicious—super flavorful and juicy. Every meat was cooked perfectly. Great portions for the price, too. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu.

We thought we would grab a quick bite . Love the feel of restaurant when you go in you see the duck, chicken, Ribs and pork hanging . We got the barbecue pork and roasted duck . They both came with a large portion of white rice and steaming hot cabbage . Portions are nice size for the price . Duck was crispy and tender . Barbecue pork had nice amount of fat on it and was tender with great flavor . Prices were 13.99 and 15.99. Check it out you will not be disappointed

My breastfeeding friend swears their BBQ pork rice boosts her milk supply. And the cashier? Absolutely adorable, energetic, polite, and wonderfully warm.

If you’re a fan of Cantonese BBQ, Chung Wang BBQ in Katy Asian Town is a must-visit! We ordered a full feast—three meat combo with roast duck, crispy pork belly, and BBQ pork, stir-fried greens, chicken wings, salt & pepper fried pork chops, and soft stir-fried flat rice noodles (hủ tiếu xào mềm). Every single dish was flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection.
The BBQ pork was juicy and tender, the pork belly had that perfect crispy skin, and the roast duck was rich and savory. The stir-fried noodles were a major highlight—chewy, saucy, and loaded with beef and greens. Even after sitting for a while, everything still tasted amazing.
To top it off, the service was excellent. Our waiter was super friendly and outstanding—attentive, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome.
Generous portions, great value, authentic flavors, and amazing service. Can’t wait to come back!

The food we ordered was phenomenal! We had an order of roast duck, 1.25 pounds of roast pork belly, 0.75 pounds of spare ribs in honey sauce, and an order of the garlic stir fried green beans.
All of the meats were wonderfully juicy, crispy, and full of flavor! The woman who took our order, Kitty, was SO sweet and welcoming! We mentioned to her that it was our first time and she gave us an order of Beef Chow Fun for free! Of course, it was SO good – not too salty, with noodles perfectly al dente!
I look forward to my next visit to Katy to visit Kitty at Chung Wang!
