Sometimes you might have to wait for a table but once you get to your table your service is great and your food comes quick. It can get loud in there but still a great place to grab some food.

We went on a Saturday night and it was about a 20-minute wait. The Mexican soup and tamale was a nice dinner. The salsa was good and the chips weren’t too bad either. Good service and nice atmosphere. Food took a while to come out, but had good flavor. The margaritas looked good and they also had Jarritos. Cheers

We stopped here for dinner on a week night. It was pretty busy, but we were seated right away. We ordered the queso to go along with the chips and salsa. Being from Texas, I consider myself a pretty good judge of Mexican Food. To me, this place just misses the mark on everything. The salsa had no heat and too much cilantro. The queso was bland and runny. My fajitas were not skirt steak and had an odd flavor. They also came out like 20 minutes after my family’s food. However, my wife and daughter liked their chicken enchiladas. I felt sick to my stomach for hours after eating here, but my family was fine. That might explain the funny taste of the fajitas. ♂️ I don’t recommend this place, but if you do go, head my warning and avoid the steak fajitas!

Drove by this place many times. Finally decided to try, and was not disappointed. Food (Shrimp Taco’s / Fajitas) were full of flavor and the drinks were generous and strong.

I had passed by here many times but never stopped. Finally went this last Saturday and I’m disappointed I didn’t try them sooner! The carne asada street tacos were absolutely fantastic, very healthy sized portions and excellent flavor. They definitely hit the spot. You can tell corn tortillas were made fresh. We just recently moved to this side of town and were looking for a great Mexican food place, and we definitely found it. The waitress/hostess was very friendly and helpful, and answered all of my questions. The ambiance of this restaurant is wonderful, and they have a cantina where you can have drinks. They have outdoor seating as well. My food was prepared with the utmost care, but also very quickly. It only took about 10 minutes to get the 7 tacos I ordered. Definitely looking forward to trying some of their other menu items. 12/10, will definitely be eating here again. Price is in the $$ range.

Very nice place with kind servers. We got a cozy 2 person booth right by the window immediately upon walking in, and had someone waiting on us almost immediately, despite it being very busy.
The food is also incredibly cheap. Two people, each with food and soda was only $29 before tip.

Found Chula’s through Grubhub and absolutely had to go and dine in as well. I’ve been in Oregon for almost a decade. For that time I’ve been missing the Mexican food I use to take for granted. Chula’s definitely hit the spot in all the best ways.
