The fajita were damn near perfect. Large portion and fast service. Passed by several times and noticed the huge parking lot was always full around lunch and knew there was gonna be good food. The menu is Half BBQ/Mexican food.

The ribs were heavily smoked as I love them. The brisket was fall apart tender. Holy cow, the barbecue sauce was hot, sweet and had a wonderful Mexican flair. Cumin? The ribeye tacos were also delicious. The salsa was off the hook, outrageously good! Heavy on sun-dried tomatoes, onions and cilantro. The okra was perfect. Crispy not crunchy and a buttery light corn crust. The refried beans, wow super tasty could stand to be slow cooked longer and a tad bit thicker like abuela used to make. Lastly, the Ice-T was strong and of high-quality. Exactly the way I enjoy it. My new favorite barbecue, Mexican restaurant.

Have been to this place several times while working in the area. The last time was very disappointing. Ordered the rib dinner and waited over 1 hour to get my food. 2 gentlemen came in after me and got their rib dinners within minutes. Someone even asked what food I was waiting on, went to check and came back to say they were working on it. 30 minutes later I went to the counter to ask. Dinner came out a few minutes later, but I believe they microwaved the ribs. Shame as there are not many options in that area. Will be looking for others though.

We had never stopped here before but I’m so thankful that we did the restaurant was so clean the workers were so friendly and so helpful and so accommodating all of the food was perfect everything was fresh and handmade to order the hamburger patties were real not Frozen and the sourdough buns were amazing the french fries were fresh and hand-cut I can’t wait to come back through here again we will definitely be stopping.

The food was good the service was trash we ordered an appetizer of Salsa and chips. A group of people walked in and within 5 minutes had there salsa and chips while we still hadn’t gotten ours. My wife finally went and said something we got our appetizer than 3 minutes later got on entree. So appetizer was pretty much useless then. Lol

Not quite the amazing food it used to be, but still alright. They really went downhill for a while and I wasn’t even going there anymore. Someone told me it was better and it definitely is. Service was great! We go there for bbq and a big group went again and we wound up trying everything. None of the bbq is the best ever, but it’s all decent. Try it out again!

Really disappointed in this place, it’s been a few years since I stopped here I used to buy the jalapeno relish here that was delicious and a pound of sliced brisket. The brisket was 16 dollars total for the 2 items 24 dollars I thought that was kinda high, drove the rest of 37 miles home couldn’t wait to taste the jalapeno relish. When I got home I slapped the jalapeno relish on a slice of meat only to find out I was sold a pint of sweet relish I can buy at the grocery store for less than 2 dollars no jalapeno in it what so ever. I didn’t realize this place had sold it use to be called JR’S. It was a rip off for me.

Had the smoked sausage and catfish dinner. The dinner tasted great and so did the sausage, but the BBQ sauce was watered down. Even though the fish was decent in portion there was only 2 pieces and hardly any okra, which was a side I chose. They had a catfish basket and I’m glad I didn’t get it being how little I received for the dinner. Food tasted great, over priced and water down BBQ sauce. I might try something different if there is a next time.
