Yes, there really is a Chuck, and his name is Charles Chuck Rolles. Chuck graduated from the Cornell Hotel and Restaurant School in 1956, and then moved to Hawaii, and in 1959, opened the first of a number of restaurants that bear his name in Waikiki. After opening his second steak house in Waikiki, he was the first to bring the steak house and salad bar concept to the Continental United States. Ken Williams was the first of Chuck’s partners to bring the concept to the East Coast. Ken opened the first Chuck’s Steak House in the East with its salad bar operation over 35 years ago, in West Haven, Connecticut. It was then that Chuck and his partners opened the first of a number of Chuck’s Steak Houses that stretch from California to the E

I had a great time with friends prime rib was great . I got the 16 oz and it was as big as the plate. I don’t know how they would fit a 20 oz on the plate. waiter Dave was awesome. I also recommend the stuffed mushrooms or the potato skins. wife had fish and that was good too. Looking forward to going back for more prime rib. Oh and the strawberry shortcake off the chart.

I wish I read the reviews before going. We had three different waiters during meal service. It took over 45 minutes for our meals to arrive and it wasn’t even crowded. The steak tips were lukewarm. The stuffed mushrooms were burnt on the edges and dried butter or I should say burnt butter on the bottom. The fries had a hair strand stuck to one of them. The Irish nachos were burnt and just sprinkled cheese on top and nothing anywhere else. It was terrible. The whole experience was less than desirable and for those prices, I would expect at least a halfway decent meal and experience. And maybe two waiters at most! 3 makes me feel like two quit. I would never return and would not recommend this place. Also, 7.50 for a below average salad bar as an add on to your already inflated meal price.

My mother has been coming here since she was a kid and I see why they’re still in business afyer all this time. Food was cooked perfectly. Service was incredible and the garlic butter is just amazing. The prime rib is very flavorful.

We celebrate a birthday there on Saturday night..the customer service was outstanding!! The food was delicious and the drinks were good also..!! And our Waitress MELANIE WAS FANTASTIC!! She was perfect with everything that evening!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MELANIE!!!

You really can’t go wrong when you choose to dine at Chuck’s. The food is consistently tasty every time and the bar has such a warm friendly atmosphere. My person favorites are the tips and skins and also the Irish nachos are to die for!

Me and my wife first time here and will be the last time steak came out soaked in oil along with the fries were soaked in oil my food came out before my drink had to ask for silverware only positive thing I could say about this place was Amanda the waitress was great but the food was terrible my wife’s steak was soaked in oil and my steak I ordered medium and it was like shoe leather my wife had to dip her steak in ketup just to eat it had zero flavor first drink whisky sour came out great second one was really out of balance way too much whisky they charge fancy restaurant prices but food quality just isn’t there go to Outback and you will get better food and spend half the money I doubt the owner will reply to the review not worth the 100 buck I spent if you are think of eating here look at the 40 plus bad reviews on this place first

Went there for some apps with my husband and got calamari, a 3 cheese pizza and salad bar and food poisoning set it mere hours later! The calamari tasted off and so was its texture.
