If I could leave minus stars I would , but our servers were sweet and kind that’s why I at least leave 2 stars.
My boyfriend and I came to chucks for date night and we had some of the worst food ever.
He got the filet mignon and lobster (which looked like was advertised with bacon around ) and was absolutely terrible. gravy cold and clumpy , smash potatoes taste like potato powder as opposed to actual mashed potatoes, the lobster slightly fishy and the actual filet chewy and hard to cut through (and it didn’t actually looked like a filet mignon , it looked like a steak cut in half and served to us) . For a $40 meal this is extremely sad.
I got the steakhouse burger which tasted like a frozen patty… the salad was good and so were the fries but it’s crazy that this is the quality of food given at what’s supposed to be a steak house . I am a burger girl and I have NEVER just ate half a burger.. I couldn’t finish tonight’s burger, that’s how awful it tasted.
The wings were fenomenal!! And our servers the absolute best! I’d give the place a 5 starts for our server alone , the young man that helped us was wonderful. He was killing it!! but absolute terrible food. Sad we picked this place for date night.

Worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally showed up, it looked (and tasted) like it had been sitting under a heat lamp the whole time. My steak was grey, black, and completely burnt — it was honestly hard to tell what cut of meat it even was. The onion rings were just as bad, charred almost completely black. The server only checked on us once the entire meal, and it felt like we were being ignored. For the time, money, and effort it took to eat here, I wish we’d just gone anywhere else. Total waste.

We had a great experience at Chuck’s Roadhouse in Sarnia! The food was delicious and came out exactly as ordered, but what really stood out was our waitress. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Her service made the whole night even better. We’ll definitely be back!

Today I went on a date with the wifey. Not one we always get because of life, kids and their sports. I ordered the surf and turf. My steak was terrible and cold, gravy was cold, my mash was box potato. My wife got a burger with fries plus we got boneless wings. The whole meal was instant and frozen eats. Do yourself a solid and make your own. 100 bucks for some of the worst food I have had at a restaurant. Then come to find out the owner takes 5% of the total bill from the servers no matter what! So if someone doesn’t tip for some reason, they actually owe the owner from their own wages!!! The best thing was the server and he was max stressed, clicking a pen to keep his own sanity!

Honestly? What a terrible experience.
We brought a group of about 20 people for dinner, for a birthday celebration. I will add, I understand it was valentines day, I understand the busy aspect of the day. We also made sure we made a reservation though.
The waitress was unfortunately very disorganized, and had zero help. If she had a bit of organization or help, it may have gone a bit smoother.
Our food was brought out so incredibly spaced between our group. We sat at 530. We got our final plate at 730. Still missing food when the final plate came out too.
We never got offered drink refills? We had to ask for my nephews drink refill after his cup sat empty for well over 30 minutes. Nobody got offered drink refills except about 20 minutes after ordering them (note that we were there 2 hours. My drink sat empty for quite a while after I was finished with no offer of a refill/new drink)
My food was absolutely sub par. My partners food was also sub par. My steak was almost blue, yet I ordered it medium rare. Lobster was way over cooked. The ribs my partner ordered were nothing to write home about.
Unfortunately, that was my first time ever eating at this Chucks, and I will never come here again, nor will we ever bring a big group of people here again.

Chucks was ok. Service is not so great. They were busy understandably since it was dinner but slow. Ordered all at once and mentioned to the server that we were really hungry so please bring out the food as it’s ready. Don’t wait for it all to come out together. That was ignored and half of the food was cold. Prices for the food are very reasonable. You can get a 12oz ribeye for $20. Quality of the food is what you expect for the value. It’s decent. Nothing fancy or fantastic but good for the price. Was not impressed with the nachos. They were cold and half of the cheese was burnt and hard. Trying to flag down the server was challenging. She’s very good at not making eye contact. Waited 30 mins for the food and by the time it arrived we still didn’t have cutlery or plates. Overall not impressed. It was also very cold in the restaurant so dress warm.

Decided to stop in here for supper while visiting Ontario. The staff was very friendly, very busy at the time (7 pm), lots of parking and great atmosphere. Had ordered chicken dinner and a peppercorn New York steak. Ordered the steak well done and was quite disappointed as it was not. The server did agree with me and asked if I would like to send it back to be put back on the grill. Unfortunately, I’m not that person to send my order back to the kitchen. I just left the raw meat on the plate. On the other the chicken dinner was excellent

The chucks had pretty good environment but didn’t had great experience with service Our food came in late took about 30 mins. And fries was stale. Nachos were good but i found it was less cheese otherwise it was good. The only food i loved was spinach dip. Also, i really liked the way server changed our fries. But still not a great experience. Not coming again to this chucks. Not recommended at all.

I had Rib Wing Combo, Wed night special. It was adequate. My husband had double burger and fries, the hamburger meat was the worse tasting meat ever. I had a sample of his burg, wow bad. Service, server was great. Bathrooms had 3 out of order stalls in women’s, which looks bad.
