Loved everything about this place. From the time of arrival to the end of service, there were no complaints. I ordered the gumbo, the red snapper with risotto and broccoli, for dessert the blondie sundae and 2 lemon drop martinis. Everything was seasoned to perfection and they did not skimp on the alcohol! Our waitress was amazing as well. 10/10. I will be back.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating a friend’s birthday! Everyone from the staff to other guests were warm and welcoming. We had several new acquaintances before the evening ended. We ate fairly light with our cocktails and it all was delicious!
Special kudos to our server and bartender, James!! He’s definitely a “Wingman”.
I definitely will be back for a fine dining dinner date with hubby soon.

Thrilled to see this spot reopen after the fire! Ambiance is top-notch, and the food is exceptional. Service is attentive and friendly. Only suggestion: improve noise management, as it can get loud.

Chuck’s Montgomery is a delightful spot if you’re in the mood for fresh seafood and a vibrant atmosphere. Our evening began perfectly at the bar, enjoying well-crafted cocktails before moving on to dinner. We kicked things off with the wedge salad, which was deliciously crisp and flavorful, although the bacon could have been fresher instead of pre-packaged.
For the main courses, we opted for the blue tail tuna special served with broccoli risotto and the chicken piccata. The bluefin tuna was outstanding—succulent, perfectly seared, and memorable. The broccoli risotto complemented it nicely. Meanwhile, the chicken piccata was wonderfully moist and tender, with pasta cooked to the ideal al dente texture.
On the downside, the sushi offerings seemed overpriced, nearly double the cost compared to local competitors. Additionally, the casual attire of the staff—T-shirts and baseball caps—felt somewhat incongruous with the upscale pricing and ambiance, making it challenging to distinguish staff members from guests.
Despite these minor shortcomings, the quality of food and the overall atmosphere were impressive, and the service was notably attentive and professional despite the casual dress. I look forward to returning to Chuck Montgomery for another delightful seafood experience.

Great atmosphere. Delicious food. We went to Chuck’s per recommendation by some friends and the place didn’t disappoint. As busy as it gets on a Saturday night we were quickly seated and offered some drinks. Varying (sea)food options including appetizers were all delicious. We even tried the dessert.

Food was delicious! Best dinner out in a long time. I had the snapper with artichoke, my husband had the stuffed shrimp and my Mom had the fried shrimp. Everyone was pleased. Our waiter Denise was very pleasant and helpful.

Here on business and wanted some fresh fish. Catch of the day was red fish, went with it bronzed. Love the ambiance of the restaurant, great menu, great cocktail menu. Great location, love that it’s in the Cloverdale area. Would definitely come back again when in the area.

The is a fun spot in the Old Cloverdale district of Montgomery. In the place as the once neighborhood staple “Jubilee” comes another fun spot with a lovely atmosphere, great staff, and fun southern fare, but with an elegant twist to include Sushi! Blake was around server and he was well informed of the menu, specials, and drinks….but most of all, he was nice!
I enjoyed the dining experience which is excellent for a nice Friday night out, or an intimate weeknight date. I’d come back for any of that.
