What a pleasant surprise!!! After eating a grease burger at Red Robin a few weeks ago I thought Id never eat another burger again in my life. But I needed to get over it so we stopped at the chuck wagon. I got the Lee burger. It was REALLY GOOD. Not greasy at all!!! Fully of flavor. The onion rings on it we cooked to perfection! I had 2 co-workers and 11 students with me. Every single one of us enjoyed what we got…chicken fingers, burgers, grilled cheese, hot dogs and ice cream galore. All very tasty and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back with my family!!!!!

Classic food. Lots of options. Great desserts! When it gets busy it gets a little slow, but it is a family business (I think) and we are happy to go there! I also love that they have bathrooms…sometimes smaller places don’t and it’s hard when you bring kids. But we never have to worry here!

Nice place to stop in and hang out for a bit. Good ice cream. The hot dog frank was good but disappointed in what they call chilli. It was just cooked ground beef, lacking chilli seasoning and extremely dry. It was like ground beef crumble over the hot dog.

The Chuck Wagon was a fantastic experience. It was very clean with fresh food and very friendly service. All food came out hot and delicious and the ice cream was great as well. We will be returning to the Chuck Wagon.

Really good food and service. They do except credit cards. Definitely going back… worth the 30 minute drive for some casual family dining!

My husband and I were eating supper here and a 3 vehicle accident occurred on Mauch Chunk Road right in front of the restaurant. The owner was very quick to offer bags of ice and bottles of water for the people involved. Her kindness was very refreshing in this crazy world where people keep more to themselves and don’t want to get involved. I would definitely return for another meal and an ice cream sundae! Everything was very good! A good value for the food!
