I’ve not only had experience as a customer but have also helped them out in their kitchen temporarily, recently.
I can truly say they date things as they should & they are careful of who they keep in there as employees. Even careful to keep people on drugs out of the kitchen so it is not in your food. Sadly. Drugs are a big part of the “food” world. Not here. They are also clean and the food they feed you is great. As a customer I had great experiences with the wait staff being kind and compassionate & taking g the time to visit with me, not “pushing” me out to get another customer at the table. I’m very impressed with what the new owners have done with the place so far since they took over right about 2 years ago. Let’s just say: 3 years ago,, I would not have eaten OR worked there. Now. I would both.
Great, safe & clean & whole food.
Great, kind, caring, clean (clean on several levels) staff.
Great, caring, understanding, unique & innovative owners.
Definitely, if you have not tried this place in 16 months or longer, go back. You’ll be surprised. Even the portion sizes are getting better. It SEEMS they realize selling MORE FOR LESS & NOT LESS FOR MORE……IS HOW YOU KEEP CUSTOMERS COMING BACK TO A “MA & PA” establishment.

Had the absolute worst experience at this restaurant tonight. We came in and stood their at the door for a good 2-3 mins with the woman’s standing at the register not saying a word to us. We then ask if we are supposed to seat ourselves and she says go ahead. Out or 9 people in our group, every one of our meals were burnt and the fries tasted like they had been sitting out since morning time. When we asked the waitress the replace the kids corn dogs the waitress got an attitude. We are very disappointed and will not be going back.

i have eaten there for years the dinner is a main stay in this area. the food has always been a great and its a great place to hang out and eat good food. however this morning we ordered the special 2 eggs 2 sausage and 2 pancakes 6.95 we added home fries and 2 slices of bacon and got charged 12.95 and only got 1 piece of sausage. i could have ordered 2 breakfasts for that price or driven to IHOP in town for that including my gas. food was good but to be honest not that good sadly disappointed :'(

I can not say. We ordered Monterey chicken and grilled pork chops an after 35 -45 minuets I asked about the order and not only was it not being processed they could not find the ticket. Needless to say at that point we left. It might have been fantastic. We will never know.

Good food, nice little restaurant. Waitress”s are forgetful at times but nice!
Update— they are no longer in business they haven’t updated it on here but their doors are locked and phone just rings well before closing hour. I wish they’d post that before we waste gas driving there.

The Catfish has no flavor other than cornmeal. For all you can eat in this area you would think they would do better. The quality of the rest of the menu depends on the dish. My Friends call this place Choke Wagon.

Absolutely awful. One of the kids in our party got a corndog and the three (yes they tried three times) were frozen. Still white and covered in ice.
One of us couldn’t bite through the steak, and the hamburgers I and my mother received were rubbery and lukewarm at best.
We’re never eating here again and neither should you. Go somewhere better. Like McDonald’s.

1st time here. Food was good as was the service and atmosphere was inviting, comfortable. Portion size on appetizer was a little small for the price but I’ll go back when I’m in the area.

Food is good, but service leaves a lot to be desired. Out of four orders for my group, the waitress got three of them wrong, and then we didn’t see her again until we left.
