I had the Crispy Onion and Mushroom Burger. Pretty darn good burger. Incredibly satisfying!
Home made (from scratch) gravy is also worth the try!
Only suggestion would be to reduce the salt on the fries and in the parties by about half.

This was the easiest 5 star rating.
Most places at the farmers market are a bit overpriced, chuck-n-shoulder is great value for what you’re getting.
I ordered the kimchi burger and it was excellent! Nice to see a huge side of fries with it as well.
Definitely coming back again!

First time trying this place out and they did not disappoint! Great heft to the burger with awesome taste and fixings. I really enjoy their chuck sauce. Friendly staff. Definitely will be back!

Really disappointed with our experience here today.
My husband ordered a Chorizo Breakfast wrap, which he has ordered a few times in the past year. It’s his go-to breakfast dish at the Farmers Market. The wrap costs around $11.50 with GST. Today he was charged $33.03. He tapped his credit card on the machine when he then realized he was significantly overcharged.
He told the cashier that he was over charged, and she seemed confused. He then showed her the pending charge on his bank app, and the cashier and other employee working there told him “that’s just how credit cards work”.. still not sure what they meant by that?
The cashier said she can’t refund back onto the credit card and can’t give cash back until her boss got there which wouldn’t be for a few hours. Returning later that day was not an option for us.
She did give us a package of 4 sausages in lieu of a refunding the $21 we were over charged. I highly doubt the pack of sausages was worth that much, and we were not prepared to spend this much money.
At no point did the cashier apologize. The employees made him feel as if he was stupid for trying to get his money back. Won’t be returning.

If the Calgary Farmers Market was an island and I could only eat one thing on said island, it would have to be the Polish All Beef Smokies. They well priced, grilled perfectly and great tasting. One regret; I didn’t buy more. Super nice owner as well!

I had my first experience at Chuck ‘N’ Shoulder about three weeks ago. I was craving a burger for lunch when I was shopping within the Calgary Farmers Market. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger that included a side of fries for a reasonable price.
The appearance of the burger was mouth-watering. A beautiful poppy/sesame seed bun including all the vegetable fixings of lettuce, tomato, etc. followed by a generous portion of bacon and perfectly cooked med-rare burger pattie. The featured sauce was called Chuck sauce. This sauce is so good I want to brush my teeth with it. Yum!!!!
The only factor I would include as constructive feedback is that the fries, unfortunately, haven’t been inconsistent. My first two experiences they’ve been golden with a wonderful snap to the potato. Since then, I’m not sure if it’s been fryer issues (temperature, etc.) yet, they’ve come out almost tasting saturated/border-line hard. Yet, this is a minor fix to a delicious artisan burger/meal.
I would highly recommend Chuck ‘N’ Shoulder!

I had the Hawaiian luau today and it was the best sausage on a bun I’ve had in a long time. It tastes like it looks (it looks delicious) and tastes like what you would always want a sausage on a bun to taste like. I love hot dogs/smokies (my choice of food whenever offered) so I know what I’m talking about and this tastes even better than the “3am hot dogs after the bar”.
I will definitely be sending my husband back to pick me up orders regularly.
