I am NOT a fan of buffets AT ALL buttttt from the instagram images I HAD to try some of the breakfast buffet items I saw! I can honestly say for a family buffet it did not disappoint. I am more concerned about cleanliness and food being picked over than the actual quality when it comes to buffets. Here, the tongs are suspended from the lights over the food on elastic drawstrings which is comforting. It keeps the ends of the tongs being touched away from the food. I also noticed that the food is frequently replaced and when replaced they also clean the accompanying tongs and that eased my fears. I really wish that all restaurants were required to use actual glasses because those plastic cups are just not sanitary (and yes I had a visibly dirty one that I had to send back) I normally ask for to go cups when that’s my only option so I will take the blame. On to the food! My literal ONLY complaint is the scrambled eggs. I reallllly prefer restaurants to not use those liquid eggs and them scramble them until the look like popcorn I didn’t even taste them, they don’t digest well lol but instead they have a omelette bar. Some of my favorites were the chicken and waffles with various sauces to choose from, the pumpkin cake, the bread (way better than Golden Corral—kind of like Ghana tea bread iykyk! Egg bites so good, breakfast potatoes fresh with peppers and onions, fresh juices probably full of sugar but amazing! I asked for an iced coffee and it was much better than I expected! Theyyyy have horchata I was in love a lil bit lol sausage and bacon were giving home cooked—in the country! I can’t even remember it all, I had a bite of everything I could! I missed the fruity pebble pancakes from IG if they had them and I definitely missed some of the sections of food because they have literally everything! The price was good! Less than $20 (and that scared me because equated it to quality and was sorely wrong!) I think they need more space, it’s too tight for the number of people that seemingly show up for breakfast. My waiter Noel was EXCELLENT, very attentive but not bothersome and even kindly obliged when I requested he only speak to me in Spanish! I will be back and I recommend you go too!
I just found a picture—biscuits and sausage and gravy excellent texture and taste, breakfast pizza surprisingly good, churros good but a little hard (perfect for coffee or hot chocolate!) cinnamon bread or roll or whatever it was (center of plate on the right) amazing! Didn’t take a picture of other testing plates and waited too long to do this review so I can’t remember—but I can update on my next trip! (Sorry the plate isn’t visually appealing—it’s a buffet! lol) ♀️

I got this plastic in my food. When I asked for a manager she told me that it just happens sometimes and that I had to deal with this. No intent to fix it, it ruined my whole families appetite. We’ve been coming here for years and Im extremely upset that nothing was done to resolve this issue. The managers rather argue with me about what it is in my food than take care of us. This ruined our experience tonight. Arika was tha manager on site and was complete disrespectful and argumentative. She is not equipped to be a manager at this establishment!

I’m a big fan of the Chuck A Rama buffets and this one was just as good as the last (Draper Chuck A Rama). Took our British family here for a unique one of a kind American buffet experience and everyone had a grand time. It’s definitely bang for buck and having the options they do makes it possible for everyone to have a nice meal. Even if you have picky eaters. The atmosphere was a bit weird with kids making messes at the ice cream station and some people giving weird stares but that’s a buffet for ya! The food was delicious, fresh and having waiters that grab your dirty places and fresh drinks is nice! Can’t go wrong here given the fact you don’t have to dress fancy.

Today was BBq day. The food tasted like it had been on a chuck wagon for a week coming across with plains with the pioneers. It was down right uneatable, even the regular food like the fried & baked chicken. Pizza tasted like it just came out of a can. Thank goodness for the salad bar or we wouldn’t have had anything to eat. Even mom said it was nasty, and she doesn’t complain about anything. The food is usually pretty good for the price, not sure what the problem was today.
Also just an observation, the restaurant really needs a freshen up. Chef Robert Irvine would be appalled at the way it looks.

Don’t bother wasting your money. Everything on the breakfast hot bar was cold . Bacon was burnt, sausage links looked like they were cooked in a deep fryer.gravy for the biscuits was lukewarm warm. I tried the oatmeal and it also was like warm never again will eat here!

Haven’t been to Chuck-A-Rama in 20 yrs. Stopped in for lunch today. First of all it was very clean. Friendly staff. Has your typical buffet foods. Everything just avg. tasting. I would give it a 5 on a 1-10 scale.

We had a large group of 30. We had to wait a little, but it wasn’t too bad. They gave us wristbands so they knew who was with us. The food was good and accommodated many tasty and ages.

We like Chuck a Rama and decided to try their breakfast out. Their coffee was terrible. French toast was tough, eggs were sub par, hash browns were on the soggy side. Sausage was sweet and did not look like real sausage. It would be nice if there were more zero sugar options for those who are diabetic.

The Murray Utah location is quite noisy but it is very popular and busy because it is close to a shopping mall. I really like the selection of fresh salad bar, plus meat selection, and desserts. Always good food. Friendly waitresses and waiters.
