Needed to try something new, and one of the 5 Mexican restaurants in town wasn’t going to cut it. I took my 2 little boys to Chubby’s, hoping for delicious food, knowing I was taking a risk. The food did not disappoint! Even my 7 + 3 year old kiddos loved the Pad Thai and Peanut Butter noodles.
The approachable menu has a small variety of fusion foods, leaning into Mac-n-cheese combos. Again, our more Thai choices were tasty!
As the only diners, the vibe was a bit desolate. The space is big, and it needs people dining in it, and some warmth, to make it feel right! Clear outdoor signage will also help, big time.
Service was fantastic.
Food was fantastic.
We will be returning soon, and adding it to our take-out list.

Fun fusion restaurant of Americana and Vietnamese favorites. Great menu and service. Food is elevated with nice presentation and garnish, tastes fresh and cooked to order. We had a great time.
Note: there is no sign for the restaurant on the outside of the building yet- the building says PhoEver 21 and the inside foyer says eggrolls. The waitstaff were so nice and met us in the parking lot to let us know we were at the right spot.

I got the PHO, felt the broth didn’t have much depth. They have a in house made beef paste to add. The paste helped but over all it was kinda bland. It didn’t have the hearts of the person making it cooked into it..
The restaurant is huge but clean. The staff was awesome. Just wish the Pho was better. 4 star on the Atmosphere because the dining area was so huge that it didn’t have that warm feeling, it felt like I was in a gymnasium.

My husband and I went for lunch and it was okay. We had the sampler as an appetizer and got our wings with the dry rub flavoring. The wings were REALLY good – good flavor, crispy outside with juicy inside. The crabby ragoons were soft/soggy but had a good flavor, and the egg roll was good.
My husband got the crabby patty and he really enjoyed it. The patty was big and the crabby ragoon went well with it.
My peanut sauce pasta did not look appetizing and the noodles were overcooked. The flavor was okay but wasn’t great.
Great place for wings and burgers but I won’t get pasta next time.

I ordered the Korean Mac & Cheese, and it was supremely delicious. Came with a group of appx. 15 people, and our service was great, although there was only one other group (I don’t know what the service is like during high-volume times) Definitely would eat here again, and would recommend.

Ordered the app sampler OMG the crab rangoons! So light and fluffy shell the filling was heavy on real crab which is sweet and succulent! The egg rolls were crispy and packed with filling! The sweet and sour sauce was scratch made and perfectly balanced! Then there are the wings, fried you perfection! Go with the secret seasoning for a flavor explosion in your mouth. Went with Thai Curry for the main, it’s been a decade since I’ve found somewhere with scratch made curry this good! You can order with no heat all the way up to reaper hot!

An explosion of flavor! Crabby Rangoons, so creamy and delicious! We ate them so quickly, the plate was clean! Peanut butter noodles are to live for!!! So flavorful! The Korean and Thai Mac, hands down the best Mac I’ve had in a LONG time!! Chubby himself is one of a kind!! He throws down in his kitchen!! A Stevens Point Jem!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

He just doesn’t disappoint. We had the appetizer sampler and OMG I don’t know how it could be any better!!! We also had the the Peanut Noodles and I just love he combines these flavors and ingredients to such delicious not-your-every-day kind of food.

My wife and I had carryout the other night, she had the peanut butter pad Thai and I had the Korean Mac with reaper sauce.(I love the spice). Food was excellent and it came out pretty quick. The crab lagoons were excellent as well! We definitely will be coming back soon!

I heard great things about Chubby’s and finally decided to check it out—I was not disappointed! I ordered the chicken with regular barbecue sauce, and it was on point. I also tried the hotter sauce with scorpion pepper—amazing flavor, but way too hot for me! Highly recommend this place—great food, good prices, and a clean, welcoming environment.
