I don’t sugarcoat reviews, and I definitely don’t hand out 5 stars just because. I’m a business owner myself, so I pay attention to service, quality, and consistency.
Chubby’s Public House did it right.
Our server, Kallie, was on point from start to finish — attentive without being annoying, friendly, and on top of everything. Drinks stayed full, food came out hot, and she made sure we were good the whole time.
My wife ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the Hot Shotz — both were solid. Cooked right, full of flavor, and you could tell it wasn’t just thrown together. I had the Hawaiian burger and it was absolutely delicious. The balance of sweet and savory was perfect.
Price doesn’t bother me when the food is this good. Quality speaks for itself, and this place delivers. Good service, great food, and worth every dollar.
We’ll be back.

Waited 15min to be seated. Waited over an hour for our order to come out but never got it. The waitress wasn’t concerned that we hadn’t gotten our food and acted like she was surprised when I asked for the check for our appetizer and drinks and not the food we never got. We should have left when we saw that a customer was allowed to have to freaking dog in the restaurant. I don’t recommend this place for anyone and would never return. I will say that the older woman that worked the register was kind enough to not charge me for the chili cheese fries and two drinks but whoever owns this establishment should really consider a better wait staff and cook.

Our first visit there, and while my son and I visited when they were not very busy, we immediately felt like regulars who had been coming there for years. We talked with our waitress, one of the owners, and even some of the other customers. Outstanding place, and we will be back often! I almost felt like I was at Cheers (’80s TV show)! For what I thought was just a simple burger joint, the food was incredible! If you’re looking for a gluten free restaurant who actually understands what that means, the owners’ daughter has Celiac Disease, so they completely understand!

OMG! Absolutely delicious I had the Jesse’s Big Chubb Burger as a Bowl . I personally have a Gluten Allergy (Celiac). The kitchen and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about Celiac! The kitchen is an open kitchen, so there is a chance of cross contamination, but the only things in the kitchen that are potentially cross contaminated are the buns. Chubby’s offers Gluten Free Buns for a $3 up charge. They have a dedicated fryer so all fries are safe.

Been back a few times. Solid, consistent, filling, tasty, and great service.
Their Flights are the way to go for beer lovers. A respectable list, always rotating.

Flights and they are interesting microbrews too!! Here w my wife and the dog. Michelle, the co-owner says they offer a puppy patty for puppers.

Had dinner with friends on the patio and experienced a consistent experience with different servers. This time I had their French Dip which was equal to any I’ve ever had, my wife had a basic burger. One of our table asked for a basic dog with select condiments and it was delivered promptly and with a smile!
We eat outside w the dog and enjoy their American menu. Dogs, burgers, fries, onion rings are quite good. Beer selection is adequate. Haven’t tried any fancier cocktails.

We ate here at 6 on a Friday and were the only people here besides one lady having a beer at the bar. Not sure why it wasn’t busier, maybe the location or because it’s recently opened but ya’ll should check this place out. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with an extra patty and fries. The second patty was totally not necessary, one would have been plenty. Very good burger and fries. Girlfriend had the BLT and tater tots and said it was the best one she’s had in town. This place also has a small bar and was playing rock music in the background. I’ll definitely come back.

Atmosphere:
Fairly decent size restaurant with lots of room between tables. They had the counter with some beer on tap and the seats were really unique, which went with the overall steampunk decor around the establishment. They had 2 tvs showing the current NCAA football game and could see it as a chill spot to eat/watch the game/drink. Looking forward to what all else gets added in the near future since it has only been opened for a couple of months. They plan to get another steampunk shirt design added to their current rotation of shirts they have now, which feel like a great everyday shirt.
Service:
Service was great, although we were the only ones there, she made it a habit to take care of us and ensure our dine in experience was great. She even talked to us a bit about the restaurant and their move to the area.
Quality:
In order to compare their burger to others in area, I opted for a regular burger and upgraded my fries to their tater tots. After having a couple of bites, it is safe to say they are one my top 3 burgers in the area. The burgers are hand pressed and packed with flavor. To top it off, the tater tots didn’t taste greasy at all, yet had a really good seasoning to them making them unique.
I highly recommend giving them a shot and without a doubt upgrade to the tater tots, you won’t be disappointed.
