After looking at the crazy white pizzas from their pictures, I was excited, until I ordered an XL and it was rectangular instead of circular and had no where near the amount of cheese and the look of the photos. Sauce was sweet and pretty good but their pizza didn’t impress me in the slightest. The deep fried sausage bites were pretty good but not enough to order from here again unless the pizza ordeal was just my fault by not ordering extra cheese or something? Who knows.

Called in an order for pick up & when we got there it was ready for us. The gentlemen were very nice & full of fun! We left feeling very much appreciated for the order & the food was delicious when we ate it at home. The pizza was delicious & reminded us of the old Augustine’s pizza. There were meatballs covered in a crusty bread & dipping sauce came with it, plus a huge sandwich full of pepperoni, sauce, cheese , tomatoes & lettuce! Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this little shop in New Wilmington!

Stopped in for a pizza with my folks who were raving about how I had to try this (I live in Texas now, grew up in NC, and loved Augustine’s). Man, did Chubby’s ever get it right! Great food and atmosphere! The pizza is fresh baked and uses Augustine’s ingredients. The staff was very friendly and my family and I had a lovely conversation with who I assume to be the proprietor. I recommend trying the pepperoni or the greens pizzas! Definitely worth the visit!

The owner and staff were extremely friendly and service friendly. The pizza took me back to the original Augustines pizza! I’ve been waiting for a place like this to open ever since Augustines tragic fire. If you crave original Augustines, you absolutely have to order Chubbys. Their roni roll and Italian sub are unbelievable also!

Chubberoni was the right amount of crispy and absolutely delicious! Loved the pepperoni puffs too! And the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Would 10/10 recommend. Definitely check out all the other unique foods they have

Had an older man named “Ron” deliver my pizza watched him drop it in the snow and almost step on it. Since he is part owner you’d think he’d have more pride for the businesses owns. Won’t be order from here again since I was unable to enjoy my pizza due to half of it sticking to the top of the box, be forewarned of the man in the Buick who unlawfully collects tips

Nice, convenient/small pizza shop. A sub is triple the size, both length and width of bun, as a sub from places like subway. All fresh meat, and good amount of toppings! Little wait time, but, workers made sure the food was cooked good.

Hands down, Chubby’s is THE best Pizza place in Lawrence County. Nobody else even comes close. The most delicious pizza I’ve had since I was a kid in the 1970’s. The absolute best French Fries too. I am very glad we have Chubby’s around and I hope their business thrives so they stay in business for decades to come. My only wish is that they had a store on the other side of town too. I have to drive from South New Castle Boro all they way up to New Wilmington for their food, but it’s worth it. If you love Augustines Pizza, I HIGHLY recommend you try Chubby’s! They are way above all of their competition around here.
