Been going here since I was 7 (27 years so far – lovely family run takeaway. By far best fish and chips in the town. The kebabs are also fab!! Highly recommended

We personally prefer skinless fish so asked if the fish was skinless which it isn’t but the owner kindly offered to skin us a piece ordered a large fish & chips & a piece of haddock ( to share with three people) but there was barely enough chips for us all and they were very soggy and greasy as was the fish, first time using Chubby’s but wouldn’t hurry to return

I’ve realised I am really fussy about F&C. The fish batter wasnt really crisp enough for me, the chips also were coloured but fairly soft. Pricing was expensive too.
