Lady was busy and quick which I understand. She didn’t come off as the most polite. We we’re given our menus and not visited for over 10 minutes, while several others that came in after us were. Even if we would have ordered and then waited it would have been more reasonable then being given the menu and watch everyone else order.

LR KATASTROPHE
I hate posting negative reviews but this is the second bad experience I’ve had in a row. First time the waitress forgets my order and says she wasn’t listening to me at all. My second time we are sitting waiting for our order to be taken for 20 minutes and when we get up to leave the waitress says I was going to get you i just didn’t see you. I believe a restraunt like this should strive for excellence considering the allegations behind the owners Any way im done eating here.

Was in town for a bowling tournament and headed here for lunch. Saw good reviews and pics and was NOT disappointed!!
The food was very good, served hot, and you get plenty. Fair prices and big portions. We will definitely make the drive from Springfield again.

Stopped by this evening for dinner. My husband got the chicken fried steak – as you can see he devoured every bite! My daughter got the chicken wings and said they’re the best she has had. I had a fried chicken salad which was amazing. Fresh garden salad with a hard boiled egg and vegetables with an enormous chopped chicken cutlet!
Service was fantastic. Friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was busy.

I really hate to be the one to have to do this, especially based on all the 5 star reviews. And I don’t know if people in Buffalo have never eaten anywhere outside of Buffalo to actually enjoy good food, but this place was awful. Like, I almost got up and left after sitting down because I was so grossed out.
We sat at the bar counter, and upon sitting down we immediately noticed how dirty the place was. There were dirty pie cutters sitting out on a plate the entire time we were there, lemons sitting out in a tub the entire time, and raw chicken sitting out on the prep table. The chicken had been sitting there for at least 30 minutes uncovered, and who knows how long it had been there before we got there. Then the meat just sat in tubs on the counter, and we were there for at least an hour. The gentleman who eventually started preparing that chicken was not wearing gloves and went from touching the raw chicken to everything else. Another gentleman was also prepping raw meat with no gloves and went to immediately answer the phone with literal pieces of raw meat on his hands. We saw everything that was going on with prep in the kitchen as we were so close and there is no door to the kitchen. Everything just looked dirty and was disorganized. With having years of service in the food industry, it was incredibly awful to watch. I was super nervous to even eat my food, but didn’t want to be that rude.
The food was not the worst thing I’ve ever eaten, but also wasn’t great. The breading on the chicken was pretty overfried and hard, but the chicken was moist. The fries were super lackluster, as I was expecting fresh cut fries. They were basic and without seasoning. The portions were decent.
Our waitress spoke to us twice. Once to ask what we wanted and once to bring us our food. Never asked or brought refills, never asked how the food was or if we needed anything else. Granted, there were only two waitresses in the entire building, we were right there in front of her. I assume she knew we were dissatisfied as she didn’t ask if I wanted to leave a tip.
Had I not seen the things going on in the kitchen, and other messes, I may have rated the food a bit higher. But knowing there was a lot of cross contamination going on, I couldn’t even enjoy the food and would never go back here.

We were on our way to a concert and stopped in and we’re happy we did. He had the fried chicken sandwich and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. They were both delicious. The seasoning was great and it was a good sized serving. I don’t love the shoestring fries but that’s ok.

This has recently become my favorite place to eat in town. Started coming for the amazing lunch food. Their burgers are amazing and their fries are always perfect. Recently started going to breakfast there and it’s better than any other breakfast in town. Service is always at its best. This place does not disappoint.
