You couldn’t miss this popular eatery in Phillipsburg if you tried! The dark green color to match the name is just the beginning of the cute and quirky restaurant. You never have to be dressed up or cleaned up to get some good eat’in from Chubby Pickle, and there’s plenty of good eat’in with all of their menu choices! The daily specials are always evolving and they always have something vegetarian. Sometimes, if you’re really nice, they’ll modify whatever meal you want to fit low-carb, dairy-free, etc.
I recommend the Harvey pita, club sandwhich, The Ontario for the vegetarians, potato salad, curly fries, anything fried! I haven’t tried it all but I’ll bet all of their food is good!

No Telling
Place is a dump. Just ate there last night. You’d think for the prices charged you would get more than a morsel of fries and paper thin burgers on the bun. Staff is friendly and the place isn’t in such need of repair that it is unsafe but the food and prices are an absolute joke. If you are hungry and don’t want to tap into your IRA to pay for it I would suggest finding another burger joint in this town.

We stopped thinking we would get a great sandwich, $5.25 an instead all we got was a small bit of pastrami with some cheese, small dab of bq sauce and that was it. No drink, no chips and most of all not ever a pickle to go with the meal!! You would think a place called the chubby pickle would serve it with your meal!!

Worth a visit! Not much from the outside but lunch (grilled cheese, corned beef sandwich, side salad, and PIE) was fresh and the staff was friendly.
