Top tier sushi. I’ve been enjoying Chubby Ninja for months now. The value of the all-you-can-eat sushi business model, and the quality and presentation of the sushi is legitimately incredible. I’ve been to dozens of sushi restaurants around and this ranks among the highest in terms of quality, value, and overall satisfaction. Because of the business model, there’s a constant rotation of fresh, very high quality sushi so you never get old “fishy” tasting seafood. The rest of the menu is just as impressive too. The gyoza are amazing. The bao buns are so pillowy fluffy and flavorful. The fried rice is hibachi level. The only thing I haven’t tried (because the sushi is too good to pass up) is the ramen, but I’ve heard amazing things.
I keep coming back for the quality and each time, I’m blown away by the value. It’s worth your time to come enjoy all-you-can-eat sushi.

This is just a great place to go. Everything you eat is so fresh and yummy. The sushi is good and the Ramen is fantastic. Staff is super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is just as you want it to be.

If you are considering eating at Chubby Ninja, do not hesitate to give it a try! I am from the coast, and I have been searching for good sushi ever since moving to a land locked state. The salmon here is better than any I’ve had in Kentucky so far! Not only that, but the variety and flavors here are phenomenal. I wanted to try a variety of dishes, and only have positive things to say in regards to the ramen, boa buns, sashimi, and various appetizers. The food is flavorful and exceeded my expectations. If you are a lover of Asian food you will be satisfied. Our server, Hanadi, was such an angel. She was beyond accommodating, polite, helpful, and incredibly efficient. She was such a pleasure to have around, and made our visit one to remember!
I ordered everything al a carte and have not yet tried their all you can eat option- but you best believe I will be back.

I had the Korean Ramen spicy bowl. It was what you would expect; except; they call it spicy. It wasn’t really. Don’t let that throw you off from getting something that might just have a little bit more taste than plain Ramen.
Four of us had something they liked.
They have an ‘all you can eat’ menu. Be careful on ‘all you can eat’ because they close at 3:00 and they cut off the ‘all you can eat’ at 2:30. Plan your time well.

Chubby Ninja was an acceptable experience, though it did not quite meet my expectations. I found that the dishes, specifically the fried shrimp and noodles I ordered, were comparable to something I might prepare at home. My daughters also had the same dish, but with pork belly, and unfortunately, the pork had an unusual odor and a somewhat tough texture. I have certainly tasted better. Perhaps we should have opted for sushi, however, I do not consume sushi. I do not anticipate returning. The most enjoyable item on the menu was the boba.

Chubby Ninja in Middletown was fantastic! The lunch spicy tonkatsu ramen special with fried gyoza was outstanding—rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked gyoza. Estelle gave a great recommendation and was quick, polite, and attentive. Plenty of seating, festive Christmas music, and very clean. Highly recommend over Ramen House!

I’ve now been to Chubby Ninja four times. It’s a fun concept, the food is good, and my kids love it. I truly have no complaints about the food itself.
However, the service could be better, and for the love of God — please clean the menus. Every single time I’ve visited, the menus have been crusted and sticky with soy sauce. I have never once been handed a clean menu. It’s not a great way to start a meal, and it doesn’t inspire confidence in the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. On my most recent visit (February 13th), I asked for a new menu, and it was no better. I ended up cleaning it myself with antibacterial gel and napkins.
Also, the person in charge of seating on the evening of February 13th was very unfriendly. Between that interaction and the condition of the menus, it was a disappointing way to begin a family night out. Service in general has also been slow and inattentive. It may very well be our last visit here.
The food and concept are strong — but attention to cleanliness and more welcoming front-of-house service matter and would make a big difference.

The braised pork belly noodle dish is delicious! They have really tasty bao. The bao are big enough that you could get three and have a whole meal. Ramen is good as well. Love the robot servers and the atmosphere!
