Good food. Good service and VERY price friendly for what you get. I didn’t understand the theme at first until my boyfriend stated it was from Happy Gilmore. I hated the mugshot pic of Tiger Woods displayed. But had nothing to do with my food or service. Would go again.

Previous location for the well known “Ray Ray’s”. The new owner(s) have not disappointed. Nice chill atmosphere, friendly staff and an excellent menu. We enjoyed the *Loco Moco and the *Virginia Venet, delicious! Would highly recommend this breakfast/ Lunch location as a must try during your visit.

My wife and I came to chubbs to grab some breakfast. Everything was amazing the lumpia, half chubbs hash bowl and loco mocos and brisket. Service was great. Will definitely come again.

The servers seemed hurried but we’re generally nice. The food was not up to standards. My grits were cold and they forgot my hash browns until the end of my meal. The scrambled eggs tasted like powdered eggs and were undercooked. The order my son in law had was burnt but edible. My husband’s biscuits and gravy were cold and he said gravy tasted like the packet gravy, not homemade. My granddaughter thought her pancakes tasted weird. This breakfast trip was not a very good choice. Sorry but when you pay $100 for 2 children and 4 adults, for that price it should be a lot better. The atmosphere inside was not that great either with tables close together, electric wires running where you could see and your sitting next to an ice machine that they are getting buckets of ice out of that’s very loud.

Great pinoy type dishes, all the meats were delicious and the plates were plentiful. It all came out quickly and very tasty all around. Coffee was good as well.

Cool little breakfast spot attached to a hotel.
I went with the classic streak and eggs and a Bloody Mary, which was exceptional. It was the smokey bacon one.
The meat lovers was mixed with hash browns and had a great taste.
Chicken and waffles, chicken not overly greasy it’s a good choice.
We had these little dough things with powered sugar also tasty get them as a dessert.
Service was quick and with a smile. We went at the end of the season so the place was nit overly crowded.
I do recommend this spot.

We’ve been coming to Virginia Beach for family vacations for about 8 years now and always stay in the same area. Some of the locals recommended this to me and my kids, so we decided to try it for lunch. The staff seemed friendly enough, and the atmosphere was nice when we walked in. A cozy dinner feel. We were unfortunately disappointed with the food. I ordered adobo chicken. It seemed to be overcooked, hard to cut and dry. The rice didn’t look or taste fresh. My younger son wanted nuggets and fries, which seemed simple enough. When they arrived, I took a bite before he did, and the inside was completely raw. These appeared to be real chicken, not ground chicken like the grocery store. Our server apologized and took it back, and brought a new plate (I like to think this was a new plate anyway) with fewer nuggets that appeared to be fully cooked, but we were all completely turned off at this point. I feel queasy just typing about it after tasting raw chicken. We weren’t offered a comped dish or meal. I guess I could have asked, but I was just grossed out and ready to leave. I’m hoping I don’t feel sick later this evening. Sadly, I won’t return during our future vacations!
