I had been wanting to come here for a lil minute now. I’m like an hr away. Well worth the drive for this amazing lil spot. The burger was perfect, juicy not too much of anything on there it was just made right. And fries are really good. some thin fries. And the ranch was perfect as well. Amazing spot i highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good burger. Chubbies is the spot i will come back forsure.

My husband and I stopped by Chubbies in Santa Barbara and both of us ordered “The Chubbie” burger. It definitely lived up to the hype—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The ranch was surprisingly good too—creamy, tangy, and perfect with the fries.
The only downside was the vanilla milkshake; it just didn’t hit the mark for us—lacked flavor and was a bit too sweet. But overall, the burgers and sides made up for it. Great spot for a classic burger fix in a chill, local setting. We’ll be back (but probably trying a different shake next time)!

Great local place to stop by and grab lunch!
The fries are freshly made every time you order, and the burger was very tasty.
However, the highlight of the meal were their shakes! Super creamy and flavorful! We really enjoyed our chocolate and strawberry shakes!

Burger is average due to lack of seasoning and overwhelmed by dill pickles. There’s a reason In n Out is the best and unchallenged for decades. Note to other burger joints: forget shredded lettuce and ease up on Mayo & dillmpickes

Wow, has their service gone downhill. First of all, staff is not welcoming. They show no sign of gratitude towards their guests. When we had an error in our order we approached the counter and mentioned it. I was dumbfounded at the rude looks we got from the cook. Worst yet no apology for their error. Next time I’ll go to where I feel wecomed.

Quick home made burger joint. The staff was fast, attentive and efficient. The prices are reasonable for SB, you can have a meal for decent price. Food was great. Parking is limited and there’s only a few tables to sit at. You can also do on line orders, which might be quicker.

5 stars just for the fries. The burgers are okay, nothing special but def better than fast food standards. But their fries though… probably my favorite fries in town. Not a soggy fry in sight. Crispy but not too crispy, and not oily. Not overly or under salted. Just perfect.
