The food was really good and I enjoyed it! Staff was very nice. The only reason I would leave a skeptical review would be due to the high price. I got a veggie bowl and added guacamole and queso. No one told me it was extra and the bowl ended up being $16!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes. 1.99 extra for guac and 1.99 extra for queso is kind of diabolical for just a tiny scoop each. For that price I might as well be getting a whole bowl of each of them.

Good for around Bloomington. Definitely not like the Indy Mexican Markets. Best taco Tuesday there is though. Decor is a little different for a Mexican vibe. Food could use a little more seasoning.

It’s the only Mexican food place that I actually love to return to here in bloomington. I highly recommend the bowl over the burrito. It’s less messy even though I love a good burrito. They’re always kind to me and take care of anything I ask for. I love their drinks too! If you’re on kirkwood, definitely stop in to check them out.

I was very impressed with this place. I find myself a little disappointed with portion sizes compared to price at places like Chipotle, but here I felt like I got my my money’s worth and left full and satisfied. Starting at $9 and letting you choose between burritos, tacos, nachos or a bowl, with mainly free toppings, you are only limited by your own tastes. I enjoyed the chorizo and potato burrito and their esquites. Such a neat atmosphere in there as well!

The food was okay. We were there for the Taco Tuesday. Getting a full dinner (4 Tacos) for $10 is rare now. But I can’t rate it high as my stomach didn’t agree with the food at all. So I’d say though it tastes okay, quality is not that good. For your reference, check my reviews, I eat all kinds of food and this is very rare for me. So j can’t recommend at all. Maybe improve the hygiene in the Kitchen given how good looking the customer areas are.

Although one person spoke very rudely to the employee, he never responded. Let’s learn that we all deserve respect; just because we’re customers doesn’t mean we should speak ill of others.

If we want respect, let’s respect it. I also love this place and recommend it. Go and try their delicious tamales and tacos.

Terrible service. I went in for taco Tuesday and I asked for 3 tacos with steak. Boom perfect he hands it to the next guy and I ask for cheese. Just cheese and he begins to put onions on them and I said no onions just cheese. He continues to put on onions until they all have onions. I then told him I didn’t want onions on them and he stands there and insists I asked for onions. Even doubling down on it after I told him I didn’t. Implying I’m a liar who asked for onions on my tacos when I never wanted onions. Instead of remaking the tacos he does a half hearted clean up job and removed about half of the onions on the tacos and packages them up without me being able to see the onions and sells them to me. I do not see myself ever eating at chubbies again honestly.

Huuuuge burritos made exactly how you want them. I had the Chubby with steak, chorizo, cilantro, rice, black beans, queso, onions, and hot salsa. The chips and queso were delish and the horchata was legit. Highly recommend this place. My wife and I spent about $35 and couldn’t finish everything.

Make sure you read the menu in full be for building your burrito, if you don’t you may end up with a $30 burrito with out realizing it lol. I found the burrito (2) I got to be filling. There massive but not very flavorful. I do not recommend trying to eat more then 1 at a time. If I had told them ahead of time I was going to do a review might of been better lol. If your out on a pub crawl there open to 3am. They will need to increase there flavor to be a winner in my book. I also got tamales. They were dry and I recommend adding something to them but they don’t tell you that. They play the music so loud you can barely here the person asking what you want. The lady working there was nice and friendly , she can sing well. Will try again but not on the plans for soon. I recommend doing some research on there menu and burrito combinations be-for trying this place will lead to a better exp!!

Got 6 tacos that were all different. They didt come with radishes or green salsa how stated. The steak, biraa and chicken were all dry. Would not recommend. The guy making them let out a big sigh when I asked for jalapeño.
