This restaurants food is incredibly good and freshly made on site right down to the beads. My wife had the the coffee and she said even that was fresh. This is a great small and inexpensive but still an amazing breakfast/lunch I place. It is a well maintained restaurant and the kitchen which can bee seen from the dining area is clean too. It also has an outside seating area for the nice warm days in the year.

I think they might have closed up, twice we came once on Sat, once on. Sun at about 10-11 AM and both times the open flags were waiving but they were closed. No signs saying closed for any reason.

Such a nice place!! We accidentally ended up here and boy I’m glad we did! The staff is wonderful and service is great.
It’s a neat place with ample of dining area.
Being vegetarians, the staff were great with our order and specifications and we ate the veggie sandwiches based on our cashier’s recommendation and we definetly weren’t disappointed!
Absolutely loved the juicy sandwich with such a burst of flavors from the veggies and the sauces. The chips were amazing as well!
Definetly go here if you are in the area or even camping at the nearby state park!

Loved chubbas for years , does look like the beginning of the end. The new location is usually nearly empty , quality has suffered too. Hoping for a comeback but they need to work on some things .

What has happened to this place? They moved and now they’re horrible!? Used to go here all the time, great bagels, great service, loved the sandwiches. Now in the new location, it’s always empty, never have any bagels. Same counter person twice when I visited, she has zero people skills. When I finally got the last 6 bagels they had in the place, was horribly disappointed. I can get better bagels at the grocery store. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, went in one more time, 11 am, no bagels, one lonely egg bagel in the case… walked out, went to panera. Ciao Chubbas! I’m done with you!

If you asked me two years ago to write a review, it would’ve been 4 stars. Now, under new ownership, the bagels are almost inedible and more expensive. I had a cinnamon raisin bagel that tasted like they mixed all the leftover dough from other flavors together…one bite, rosemary, one bite, onion, occasionally nearly flavorless cinnamon raisin. I had an everything bagel last week that should be called a “nothing bagel,” because it had zero flavor. The texture is also completely different and not for the better. The bagels were great under the old ownership. Customer service has gone downhill, too. Longtime customer, but won’t be returning.

I have been using Chubbas for my school’s catering needs for a few years now. They are the best. Always dependable, easy to work with, and not daunted by a large order so early in the morning. And the food is delicious! People always rave about how great it is! Definitely stop in for a great breakfast!

I’ve been coming here since it opened and it used to be great. Good prices, good food, good atmosphere. It has gone dramatically downhill. The service is not good, the prices are ridiculous! I paid almost $8 for a bagel with extra cream cheese and there was barely any cream cheese and it was barely toasted. Sad to say but today is my last day coming here.

Today, I stopped in for an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. It was delicious. I hadn’t been there in forever. I also decided to bring home a wrap with turkey, swiss, cranberry mayo, and veggies. My family members loved it, and it was big enough for 2 people easily. It was nice to find a good sandwich shop in the area because Subway has really gone downhill, and the prices are crazy. This wrap from Chubba’s was $8.00, which is not a bad price.
The most important thing about this visit was the kindness I felt from the girls at the front counter (one was named Meredith). They were great conversationalists and really didn’t make me feel like an annoying old lady. The owner, Shawn, was very nice too. Thanks to everyone there for making me feel like there are still humans who understand what customer service means!! Also, thanks for the great food.
