After driving past this place on my way to the park and noticing the traffic it was getting I decided to stop in…best decision of the day…an instantly welcome greeting upon entering…like Dr Who’s tardis it is more roomy than it appears from the outside…I had stopped in previously to pick up a menu to look over so I knew which items I wanted to give a try…starting off with a fantastic bowl of hot and sour soup full of all kinds of goodness and was a meal in itself…a plate of pot stickers to follow…and friends coming out of the kitchen fresh and hot is the way to go…they almost seemed to melt away as I was picking them up…finished with a plate of angry chicken…nice and crunchy crust…very tender inside with a nice spicy kick…so folks go in have a seat because nothing beats it coming from kitchen to table…

One of the best Chinese restaurants between NY and SF. Spicy dishes and stir fry is amazing. Lamb Neck Stew, Dry Tofu Pork, and Griddle dishes are must have.

This place is for either: Take out or sit down at their 7-8 tables. The food is good! We had fun! The service is Quick, and they are prompt, friendly, and professional. They can do spicy or not. They have beef, pork, duck, chicken, fish, shrimp, tofu, soups, and appetizers. Their tea is So good!

Small hole in the wall for spicy Sichuan cuisine. I think they’re in the middle of a remodel as the place looks very new except the chairs.

Decor aside, the food is good. It’s spicy, authentic, and while not the biggest portions it’s not expensive either. Make sure you ask for maximum spiciness if you want some heat as they can bring it but only if you ask.

Newly remodeled and has new ownership!

Chuancai Fang is now owned by the same people as R&B Bubble Tea across the street. That place has flourished since it changed hands so I am expecting great things!

The menu here is very authentic but still has the staples of lo mein and fried rice if you’re feeling something familiar.

I am moving and will miss this place a lot!

Have been here about two dozen times with many diffrent people. Best chinnese food in the toledo area. Has great authentic sichuan food wirh a variety of choices, also has Americanized options as well. Great food to share with friends. Fast, easy going service with quick turn around.

I ate here on the 17th with three other people. the first entree was supposed to be crispy chicken and what was served was clearly sautéed chicken strips. the waiter attempted to explain this away by saying the crispy coating had broken down in the sauce. this explanation was so ridiculous I almost laughed. my other friend ordered a side of fried rice with his crispy chicken dish. Although he actually recieved crispy chicken, the fried rice tasted of and smelled of cigarette smoke. My crispy duck was the last to arrive and it should have been named charred to a crisp duck. It was the most unappetizing color of brown grey I could have imagined. It was so tough I was unable to cut it with a knife. I managed one bite and promptly used the old napkin trick on this roadside carrion . I feared for my health that evening as I felt certain botulism was eminent. The waiter was thoughtful enough to offer a doggy bag for the cruel remains and I had to laugh. you see I love my dog.to be fair they did discount the bill by not charging for one meal and giving half off the other. Further, the upgraded decor is nice.

Menu did not look like the menu on the website. No pictures or description of dishes. Braised Pork was good. Shanghai Noodles were also good.

Great Flavors. Great Food. As authentic as it gets.. Must be new or something since they were severely short staffed. I still would go back for sure.
