Reviews
The atmosphere here is calm, with nice mood lighting and music that isn’t too loud. There is indoor, outdoor, and bar seating available. There are two single-occupant restrooms.
Over time, I’ve tried a variety of dishes including Tom Kha, Roti, Green Curry, Pad See Ew, and Mango Sticky Rice. The Roti, Green Curry and Mango Sticky Rice are my personal favorites—flavorful, well-balanced, and always satisfying. I find myself coming back just for those.
This is one of the few truly good Thai restaurants in the peninsula, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for quality food and dependable service.
Chicken satay
2 Chicken wings (the sauce is good)
Royal pad thai
Thai fried rice
Pineapple fried rice
Tom yum soup (mixed of spicy and sweetness)
2 Mango sticky rice
Panang curry with beef (few meat a lot of sauce)
2 Thai iced tea
We’re so full and satisfied. They serve fast and waiting is not bad around 12nn. We waited for 20mins. The ambience is nice and the bathroom is clean.
I recently moved to the Bay Area and was looking for a new Thai place to call my favorite. I’m super glad I came to this one!
I had the spicy fried rice, and they were all coated well with seasoning. For those who like spice, although this dish is categorized as spicy, it isn’t. It’s more like a 3 out of 10 for me.
All good. Just ask for chili sauce!
My partner and I had the mango sticky rice as well.
Portion is small but really good if you aren’t trying to roll out of a restaurant!
I loved that they fried and salted the mung beans on top of the sweet rice. Together with the semi sour mango, the flavor profile is great!
Definitely recommend giving it a try.
Price is fair for the portion, and the flavors are well done!
10/10! Will be back.
A staff member who called herself “Gam” told us they couldn’t accommodate us outside because it would be “fully packed at noon,” even though the entire outdoor area was completely empty at 11:30am on a weekday. Her attitude came across as dismissive and unnecessarily proud of denying basic accommodation.
Given the higher prices here, I expected much better service and basic respect. Unfortunately, the staff seemed untrained and unwelcoming. The food itself was average at best—not worth the cost.
We ended up going next door to TOAST IN TOWN, which was busy but welcoming. Despite being fully packed, their staff went out of their way to help us, the food was great, and the prices were more reasonable. A world of difference in how customers are treated.
I will not be returning, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously.
