I found this restaurant nearby on Google with good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly, it might be the worst takeout I’ve ever had. The place was very clean and the cashier was also nice. But the food was really bad and overpriced. The fish had no flavor, only oil. I tried to add some salt to rescue. Meanwhile, the jelly noodles were soo salty and thick that we immediately threw it away. The only thing we could eat was the toothpick lamb, which was not good either. Lamb was not fresh and cost $20 for such a small portion. As a Chinese I must say their food is not authentic at all. $50 wasted, would never come back

Probably the most authentic Szechuan food I’ve had. This includes places in New York and Philadelphia. The owner is super friendly and offers great service. If you want a TRUE taste of Szechuan, China, you MUST try this place.

I love this place! I’ve probably ordered delivery from here at least 5 times over the past month. The bamboo flounder fish is definitely my favorite! The toothpick lamb is so flavorful and tender and fun to eat! The fish with hot pepper scared me at first…I’m no stranger to Szechuan food but this had a different type of burn I’ve never experienced before.. After eating it for a few minutes I decided I really liked it and the leftovers were excellent heated up! The spicy wontons and scallion pancakes are also excellent! Only dish I wasn’t too crazy about was the fish in red chili oil as the fish was a bit mushy. Otherwise I spend way too much money on delivery here for a reason!

I love this place and can’t compliment it enough! If you love authentic Sichuan cuisine then this is the place for you. Not a single complaint about anything I had. The fries were divine and I LOVE the spicy wontons. The green beans are insanely good. There really is nothing I didn’t enjoy. Do yourself a favor and try them out. The pricing of menu items is fair and reasonable. The location is a little odd (wouldn’t expect such a gem there) but had plenty of parking. I’ve only eaten at the restaurant once (precovid) but have done several takeout orders when on that side of town. You’ll love it!

This is the real deal for Sichuan Chinese in Raleigh. Every meal has been great and they are super friendly. It’s also legitimately spicy. If you ask for it hot, it will be .

The world’s most bland lo mein. Literally not one ounce of flavor. Oily noodles and dry flavorless beef. And the gyoza were tasty (not made in house) but an order is only 4 dumplings for $7. Jokes on me for not paying attention to that part.

WOW. We were thoroughly impressed with this place and it is a new favorite in our household. You cannot get more authentic than Chuan cafe. The quality and value of food is remarkable and the number of people who we saw making takeout orders while we were there was testament to that.

This place was definitely above average! Called in a order and it was ready quickly! The price was on point for the quality of food and the portion sizes. We got the Shrimp Lo Mein, Hot & Sour Soup, Vegetable Spring Rolls, and Wontons. All of our usual go to dishes and these were all above our expectations! Just the right amount of spice and flavor, not greasy at all!! Delicious!

As a Chinese i can say that it’s Pretty authentic, also fast. We ordered chili fish, I always Order this at sichuan restaurants. Fish ho fen is also up to my expectation!

The mooshoo pork is amazing! I would highly recommend that and the pork dumplings. The lo mein is a solid choice, but could use a bit more flavor. Very fresh and deep flavors in all dishes. One of the best Chinese experiences I’ve had in a long while. The price reflects the quality but isn’t terribly expensive.
