We ordered delivery from this restaurant. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and the rapid delivery. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Stir Fry Chicken and Mushrooms, Vegetable Fried Rice, and Pork Buns. There was a large portion of chicken as well as mushrooms in the Chicken and Mushroom stir fry. The food was tasty and well seasoned. The portion size was large enough to have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. We have been looking for a “go-to” Chinese food restaurant. I think we have found it!

We went to this place for lunch and it was great!! The service was prompt and the restaurant was nice and clean! I love Chinese food and I was looking for a Din Tai Fung (my comfort food) duplicate here in NC because that place is only on the West Coast and this place is pretty spot on! My absolute favorite is the wonton in chili oil and the steamed chicken slices are a close second. I would get everything again except for the Dan Dan noodles. They were okay, but not particularly my preference bc of the taste that remains in the back of my throat after eating it (from the oil/sauce) so I’ll try another one of their noodle dishes! Highly recommend this place and will be back!

This is hands down some of the best food I’ve had in the whole triangle area. I’ve been craving authentic Chinese food and Chuan Cafe would hold up against what I have back in the DMV area. It’s even worth driving 45 min from Durham. The place is located in the absolute middle of nowhere, but the restaurant itself is cute and generally pretty empty. It seems to be family owned and the server was very sweet. Don’t expect 5 star table service lol. It’s bare bones in that sense, but you’re really here for the food.

This place is seriously OVERPRICED!!!!! We had Mongolian beef ($19.99) and stir fry lamb ($21.99). I will say each plate had probably around 4oz of protein in it. We had regular appetite and came here for dinner, but we ended up having to make another dinner at home. Come on, I know inflation takes a hit but this just purely takes advantage of customers. This place is located at a weird location too, right next to an auto shop in a remote neighborhood. We decided to come bc a friend recommended it to us, but it’s completely disappointing. We got the very bare minimum service too. From taking the order to serve I’d say it’s less than 2mins and also the server didn’t care to explain my questions for some of the dishes. We’ll never come back again!

Solo date success! The food is a bit pricey, but I will splurge on food/experience, if nothing else. I ordered an array of items because duhhh I’m a foodie, I like variety, and I’m thrifty so I love to get multiple meals from one. The chef is a nice older Asian woman and when she brought the food, she said “wow, lot of food , take home” which I agreed and laughed. Needless to say this quaint restaurant was very clean and the owners are welcoming. Pictured is the dry fried green beans, spicy fried shrimp, Szechuan Chicken in chili oil, spicy wontons, and spring rolls (not pictured b/c they came first and didn’t wait around for a pic). I loved the flavor profile of all the food and it bears repeating, THE SPICE. Just something about that fried chili oil seasoning that excites my tastebuds. I would definitely recommend if your tastebuds resonate with this review.

Spot-on Sichuan dishes and American Chinese dishes were perfect too. Loved the Mapo toufu and the Szechuan Farmer’s Chili Chicken (very spicy) especially.

I found this restaurant nearby on Google with good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly, it might be the worst takeout I’ve ever had. The place was very clean and the cashier was also nice. But the food was really bad and overpriced. The fish had no flavor, only oil. I tried to add some salt to rescue. Meanwhile, the jelly noodles were soo salty and thick that we immediately threw it away. The only thing we could eat was the toothpick lamb, which was not good either. Lamb was not fresh and cost $20 for such a small portion. As a Chinese I must say their food is not authentic at all. $50 wasted, would never come back

So I stumbled on this place by accident … I was going to the pizza place but they were closed … so I landed here…. And from the outside … it looks questionable and I wasn’t sure if it would be any good. Looks were definitely deceiving and this place was a hidden GEM! From the moment I walked in the door…. It’s very clean and the decor is minimal but very chic … it wasn’t super busy and the food was very fresh and huge portion sizes… my meal and beverage was $20 with leftovers! This was a very happy accident! 10/10 definitely recommend!
