We had breakfast here this morning and it was wonderful! Our waitress was amazing, great personality, very attentive….just great all around. And our food was fantastic! Everything we ordered was great… everyone finished all their food, which never happens! Corned beef hash was very good! Definitely recommend 🙂

Great food at fair prices. Wait staff was nice, food came quickly (we ate at 9:30 am). They have breakfast specials from 7 – 9, so much bigger crowds at that time. But, the prices are really good, no need to fight the crowds. I had egg/cheese sandwich with home fries and coffee, $5.95

This place is definitely underrated. I cant believe there aren’t more people in here because their breakfast is phenomenal and for less price than the place around the corner that a lot of people go too. The corned beef was fresh and made like you would have on St Patrick’s day and wasn’t grounded up but the pulled beef style and made the whole breakfast. My husband was jealous of my Irish Benedict but also agreed that this will be our eating spot whenever we come back to OOB.

We had breakfast here this morning. A little slow as they were short handed but the wait staff made up for it. One girl started today and one yesterday but they were both on the ball and very friendly! Even chatted with the owner’s (who were cooking) son, nice young man. Give them a try! Nice Greek menu

This is the first time I’ve ever walked out of a restaurant in disgust without getting my food. Absolutely horrible customer experience.
We were a group of 8. There were plenty of tables available, but the waitress seemed a little put off by our size, then said we’d need to split between two of them. Kind of off-putting, but fine. First warning sign, it turns out.
Second warning sign was how slow said waitress was. Took her a while to even give us silverware, another ten minutes to take our drink order. Seemed to forget about us until I gestured to her ten minutes after that to actually deliver said drinks. She seemed completely uninterested in serving us unless I waved at her.
Finally we order our food, then sit there waiting. And waiting. We get our salads finally, but no entree. By now we’ve been there over an hour, and my three year old is asking when the food is coming. So my wife goes over to the waitress, who’s done her best not to make eye contact with us, and asks. Comes back stunned, saying they haven’t even begun cooking it yet. Just to be clear, they were not overly busy. There were plenty of open tables.
At that point, we got up and told her we were paying for our drinks and leaving, and that this was unacceptable. The waitress didn’t apologize and didn’t show an ounce of remorse, feebly mumbling something about how there were “all these other people here too”. Please, spare me. She turns and tells the kitchen and the cook back there throws her hands up in the air, basically saying “whatever”. Clearly they didn’t care. They didn’t apologize, didn’t offer to comp us our drinks. I’ve been with my wife for 14 years and I’ve never seen her go off on a restaurant’s wait staff the way she did. And deservedly so.
Chrys’s Restaurant doesn’t care about customer service and does not deserve anyone’s business. Stay away.

Super friendly staff, quick service, AND proper social distancing at a sit down restaurant? Don’t mind if I do! This place was cute, cozy, and the owner was even there! I definitely recommend getting some delicious food here.

We waited over an hour for our 6 dinners on a Tuesday night, The bartender was waiting tables, they must have been short staffed. The food was not great,my daughters shrimp had tails on them, and the alfredo pasta was very under cooked. We waited a while for drinks as well.My dinner I personally did not like but maybe that was just my taste (chicken piccata) We waited so long for the food we never got asked for drink refills or if we wanted another round of drinks, We had to also ask for the check. We had 2 small boys with us, You try explaining to them why their food was taking so long and why they had to sit still.By the time we finished paying it had been well over 2 hours and we walked out to a $30 ticket on a car because we had put enough Quarters in for 2 hours thinking that a simple dinner would not take that long.
