I would give this place 6 stars if I could, Sebastian made the food and his service was amazing! The food was just as good as the service! I was looking for a good spot to get fish tacos in Newport Beach and went to Cabo Cantina. They let me know they don’t have authentic fish tacos and didn’t know where I can find them. I ended up going across the street and stumbling upon this place and when I say they fish tacos are spectacular I mean it, the mahi mahi fish tacos here are a 15/10 experience!!

Service was 10/10!!!! Came in for a bowl, the workers were so kind, cracking jokes and made sure we got everything we needed. Ended up getting the churros and they were SO GOOD. If you go here you HAVE to get the churros! They’re not the gross overly processed churros, they’re made here from scratch by one of the workers and they’re to die for! Love this place!!!! Always a go to on Balboa

We were eating in a bar called Balboa Saloon. We ordered food, it was unbelievable, great taste, nice and hot and great portions. Highly recommend Chronic Tacos. He had this twice in one week.

GREAT PLACE to eat and hangout. Ricardo and Christian were GREAT hosts and servers. They were so accommodating and were very GENEROUS with their hospitality and care for CUSTOMER SERVICE. It’s my first time to Chronic Tacos but I will sure to visit again based on Ricardo’s and Christian’s service and hospitality.
Oh yes, the food tasted AMAZING also. I had the 2 Taco Plate with Mahi-Mahi Street Style with Pinto Beans and Rice. My daughter had the Pollo Asado with Refried Beans and Rice. The chips and pico de gallo was sooooo good, I had to buy a BIG BAG ad a large container of the salsa.

This was a great food location in Newport! Super simple menu and the workers were really helpful. Very friendly too! But I had the Carne Asada quesadilla that came with chips and salsa. It was really tasty! The meat was great and the cheese blend had a perfect consistency. I hope I get to come back soon!
