The burrito itself wasn’t terrible and definitely filling. That said, I got the carnitas and wouldn’t recommend it — it was excessively greasy, to the point that I ended up throwing part of it away, which I almost never do. Service was pretty sub-par, though I didn’t expect much — it is Chronic Taco after all.

My problem isn’t with the food. Food is always on point when I go no issues with food. I’ve been going to this location for several months now on my lunch break and everytime it’s the same bigger guy with the goatee. He looks so miserable everytime. I used to work in fast food and I can understand that people can be rude and demeaning so I make sure to be overly polite with other food workers. However this same guy is always so monotone and looks like he hates himself and his job. Once again having worked fast food I know there can be long lines to deal with but once again everytime I have gone the place is empty I’m the only one in line. So he can’t be stressed over the place being packed when it’s just me! If you don’t like your job then quit. Even despite all of that I make sure to tip at least 15% but honestly this guy shouldn’t even be working there in the first place. If your job consists of talking face to face and you can’t even fake being genuine then be the line cook or something.I know this may be harsh but if you don’t like being at your job then find another one. Regular customers who aren’t being rude and are tipping and being nice to you don’t need to deal with this. Makes yourself and the company look bad.

Chronic Tacos was an amazing experience. I had ordered their California burrito, and it was one of the best burritos I’ve had from a place like this. I would highly recommend coming here to try anything they offer on their menu. I’ll be looking forward to coming back. Thank you, and God bless Chronic Tacos!

Chronic Tacos is a great little spot for quick Mexican food, especially if you’re vegetarian. They have several vegetarian options, including their plant-based “fake meat” tacos, but my favorite are the potato tacos—they’re delicious. They also have a whipped orange drink that tastes just like an Orange Julius, and they serve beer. Perfect for a casual, satisfying meal when you’re craving Mexican food by the beach.

Chronic Tacos is a little restaurant where you order your food then go up to the counter and pick up your order. Theres no waitresses waiting on you. Very casual yet very cool vibe. The tacos absolutely melt in your mouth and are by far the best tacos I’ve ever had, even better than five star restaurants I’ve dined at. So if you want scrumptious tacos, head down to 11th street in Huntington Beach a few blocks from the ocean. You can’t beat their tacos!

This is a typical taco stand. Quick, easy, relatively inexpensive meal. Dining in is very basic. Food is average. Service is minimal. Mostly self-serve. We ate here because it is 3 blocks from the ocean where we walked on the beach. We chose to eat here because it is close to the beach and away from the hustle, bustle & crowds of Main Street at the Huntington Beach Pier. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

This was a very disheartening experience as my very first time to a Chronic Tacos. Maybe 2 out of the 4 staff were having a difficult day, but boy, I gotta tell you, it was hard to remain pleasant and friendly while being ignored. I ordered two items at the order bar and twice the staff turned their backs on me as though I wasn’t there. Then while the staff was filling my order, she seemed to mind terribly that I was asking her what my options were for filling the two burritos. I hope their day gets better.

Ordered the Sawed off burrito with apple wood bacon! Super yummy and the line moved pretty fast. All the employees were so nice. Glad I made the stop!

TBH the restaurant was pretty disheveled when we ate there today AND idk if their air conditioning was broken or they don’t have AC but it was SWELTERING HOT inside the restaurant! It was unbelievable! The food was decent, the girl serving the food had a bad attitude but we all chalked it up to the fact that she was dying of heat

Wow, thought I’d wander into the Mexican restaurant to see what they had to offer.

OMG – they had a huge variety of food. I’m not a fan of eggs and know I should eat them for health. So I tried the egg burrito for breakfast, filled with grilled onions and hash fries ! Yum

The carne asada burritos were good too. Really nice service- fast and friendly. Like the outdoor patio.

They have a food truck that we might use for our 4th of July party.
