My daughter and I went to Christy’s last night. We like the vibe, and love to support local businesses. Last night, they were OFF! We were told to sit anywhere, so we went to our usual table. A waitress came over and brought us water and asked us if we needed more time. We asked for a few more minutes to scan the menu. 15 minutes later I stood up to see if I could find our waitress. A different woman behind the bar RUDELY yelled at me (in front of everybody) “I know you want your order taken. I’ll get it when I can!” We were about to walk out when our original waitress reappeared and we gave our order. My daughter got the veggie flatbread without onions and it was delicious. The waitress explained they were out of celery so my daughter said all carrots were fine for her side. My pulled pork eggrolls were not as good as I remembered. They were nice and hot, but a little dry. The angry woman who yelled at me from the bar refilled our waters once and still seemed angry. A nice man came and checked on us and I placed a to-go order for my other daughter, chicken parm sandwich with carrot sticks. I took it to her and when she bit into one of the carrot sticks she started gasping for air and asked me for water. I thought she was having some kind of reaction that was about to going to require medical attention from the way she was sounding. After she drank her water and calmed down, she explained there was pepper on her carrot sticks! My daughter who ate with me had the expected raw, unseasoned carrots as would be expected, so I have no idea why pepper or ANY seasoning would be on my daughter’s takeout order. After that incident, she couldn’t even eat her chicken parm. Next time I visit my daughters, we may have to break tradition and try a new place. Between the sub-par service and rude woman behind the bar and me thinking my daughter might be going into a medical emergency over the unexpected pepper on raw carrots, our experience last night was not a good one.

Was in town for a soccer id camp with my 16 year old, on way out of town found this place from reviews.

Atmosphere was that of a fun college dive bar. From the parts I got to see inside was small table seating around the bar. We got lucky to sit in at the outdoor covered patio seating which was great minus perhaps some outdoor heaters to warm it up a bit.

Service was good overall. Servers were fun and helpful. Service a bit slow on our drink refills but the food running and table bussing was fast.

Food was great, wished I had taken pics to share. Menu consisted of a good selection of apps, sandwiches, burgers and sides. Everything we tried was great. Chicken nachos were awesome, wish they had been a bit bigger but the topping portions was perfect and the taste amazing. The Cuban and fried pork chop sandwiches were again great and the spicy sweet potato fries were so good. Potion sizes were good and the food tasty. The nachos and spicy sweet potato fries were my faves.

While probably not the place for young families, this was a hidden gem and fantastic find. Not really for those in wheelchairs as it is tight getting through the bar area, but there was a small ramp I recall. Bathrooms could use some work, about what you’d expect at your local dive bar but only a single stall and could be cleaner.

Highly recommend this place.

Christy’s Euro Pub has been one of my favorite spots ever since I lived on campus at ECU back in ye olde times, and yet I still happily trek across town to visit. The food is consistently great, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere always feels welcoming. I especially love the pulled pork eggrolls and the chicken parm wrap, they are hard to beat. And of course, the drinks are always amazing. It’s a place I keep coming back to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great local spot.

I had a wonderful time tonight with my friends! We sat outside, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Aliyah, was incredibly friendly and really elevated our experience—she even surprised me with a cocktail when I didn’t know what to get, it was really good!

The pork egg rolls were amazing. I found they were better without the sauce, but still, they were a highlight on their own.

I also tried the pork tacos, and they were fantastic—juicy and packed with flavor. I’d definitely order them again!

Wow! I cannot get over how good the food was here. Tucked away off the main roads, Christy’s is a must for those that are in Greenville. The fried pickles were like no other. They were battered perfectly and had the best crunch. The Carolina Peach sandwich was recommended to me by our waitress and it was the perfect combination of savory and sweet. I had a bite of the bison sliders and will probably be getting them the next time I come. The atmosphere is kind of funky, but in a good way. It felt very welcoming. The sanitation score wasn’t the best, but I wasn’t bothered by it.

This was our first visit to Christy’s. Service was quick to get drinks and order. Our food took about 15 minutes. The inside of the restaurant is fairly small and there is a legit bar. They do have outside seating. We ate outside and the flies were horrible. The ac is right next to the outside eating area and there was standing water which may have contributed. We really enjoyed our food. We had pretzels with pimento cheese, a garden salad, Blackened shrimp salad, and the smokehouse burger. We all enjoyed our food. The salads were very fresh.

I was in town for business and asked someone where the best wings were, they recommended Christy’s Euro Pub. I got an uber down and back from my hotel. The vibe is definitely what you would expect, a great hang out spot for locals and has the feel of a bar that you meet your friends at after work or what not. I liked the vibe a lot. It took me a second to realize I simply had to sit anywhere I could, no hostess and the servers did not pick up on that I was a tourist, so to speak. Sat at the bar and was fairly quickly greeted and asked about a drink and a menu. I had a Sam Adams Cold Snap – it was refreshing. The glassware was clean and the beer was perfect on temperature. A great way to start my experience. I order the wings, buffalo sauced. They come in a set of 8 wings, they were medium sized. So, they were not what I would call a traditional buffalo wing, they looked like they were smoked and perhaps brushed (all over) with buffalo type sauce. They were not traditional buffalo wings, but they were tasty. The best part though, the bleu cheese that came with the wings was amazing. Once I was done, I cashed out and left. I was thanked for coming in. If you are in the area, I would say try it out.

Hey! I just wanted to share an experience I had earlier. We have been coming to Christy’s for years but have not been in a few months due to my celiac diagnosis I have been really uncomfortable going out to drink in public but since we’re all finishing up our last year in Greenville we went out to celebrate the end of finals and get drinks. The entire interaction was uncomfortable. We like to sit on the patio so we brought blankets and she was blonde and on the more petite side, she doesn’t greet us with hello but instead says you guys know you can sit inside right there’s a whole open table which was odd and came off judgmental, which looking back now seems that she wasn’t dressed appropriately and didn’t wanna to serve customers outside but then we order drinks and she takes one of my friends ID inside and says she’s gonna check it, again no problem because we are all of age and we’re young adults so I understand being wary of a fake ID in a college town. She comes back outside and says sorry I can’t serve you your picture didn’t come up on the black light which is impossible or it wasn’t done correctly because it is a state issued IDMy friend is confused and slightly frustrated at this point because she is 22 and we just wanted to grab some drinks like we’ve done many times before and is asking why she thinks it’s fake and the employee cuts her off and says because your being argumentative I won’t be serving any of you. Which is fine that’s up to her discretion who she refuses to serve. It was just really upsetting because we love Christy’s and have been coming for a long time it’s been a staple in my college friend group and we have never had a poor experience before tonight. It was about the way she spoke to us and treated us I understand needing to protect your business against underage patrons, I also work in the service industry and would never have spoken to guests the way we were spoken to. I just wanted to call attention to it. Maybe a more accurate way of checking IDs could be implemented, had she taken the ID or cut it because she was under the impression it was fraudulentThat wouldve been unfortunate for all parties.
