Really good food. Not excellent but very good! The French fries were the best. Very crispy but not hard. All the food was hot and fresh. Our waiter was polite and pretty funny as well. He made the experience better. We will definitely eat here again!

Last night we ate at the Christos in Knox where we’ve eaten many many times. We were seated right away but then no one came to our table for over 10 minutes. A table of 4 were seated in the next section after us and were waited on right away. Finally my husband got up and walked to the Hostess at the front and told her no one had come to take our order. She apologized and sent someone. She also apologized and said we’d get a free dessert. We both ordered specials that came with dessert so that was a moot point. Then there were no rolls! The excuse was that a group of 50 had just left and they were making more. Several other tables did not get them either. If you have such a large group, you would think you could be making more as that group eats. They actually weren’t done until we were leaving but I asked for 2 to go. We’ve noticed that the waitresses are constantly changing and there is almost always a sign at the door advertising “Help Wanted”! Why the constant turnover???? The nice blonde short Hostess is no longer there and for several months now, a tall blonde lady is, that really is not very nice. After last night, my husband said he will not go back!

It’s very hot inside this restaurant. I was just sitting there dripping in my own sweat. We got mushrooms as the appetizer and they were delicious. Our main course however was disgusting and we were very disappointed. My company ordered a Christos burger with fries and coleslaw. He got a plain cheeseburger with just American cheese on it. No coleslaw. The burger was very dry and cooked well done when he ordered it medium well. I ordered a chicken strip salad. The chicken was very hard and I could barely get a knife through each piece while cutting it and the tomatoes were white and not edible. The lettuce was turning brown as well. The manager took off the salad but failed to make his burger correctly and never took it off. We left hungry to say the least. Awful experience.

Great food, great service, great value.
Second time eating here, both times were take out the fancy fried chicken was amazing the first time and this time I had the catfish dinner. Both meals were excellent, everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. The amount of food I had for the money was surprising.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I had a burger and customized it. It was delicious and they more than happy to make my additions. Also the soup here is excellent, I’ve had the cheesy broccoli, chicken dumpling, and cheesy cauliflower.

My husband had the Alyce taco’s available in chicken or beef served Mexican or American style. He didn’t care for the chicken, Mexican style but the beef, American style was more to his liking. . I had a chicken chimichanga that was pretty good & the lemon rice soup was sooo good! Nice family restaurant with fast friendly service.

Christos is always clean and welcoming. You can tell the management/owners keep on top of the place. We always eat here when we’re going by. My husband loves their steak and I like just about everything they have.(you have to try the fried chicken ). The waitresses are so nice. They treat you like a friend.

Had a pickup order we had 3 chef salads some soups and rolls, soups were pretty good rolls were nice and soft sometimes we get em and they are hard as rock but the salads just wow is all I can say, lettuce was dang near mush brown just slimy the green peppers were old and rubbery like they been sitting out for days cucumber same way had an awful taste the cheese and meat seemed ok dressing was good just the salads were awful I would say the worst food I’ve ever had from Christos!

We ordered takeout service. While the waitress was above and beyond and had our order ready promptly upon pickup time, the food was just blah! We had a purchase of three Gyros with extra sauce. Not a single one of the gyros had a drop of sauce at all. Okay, it is what it is & we’ll make the best of it. And THEN… lukewarm meat that had a strange case and odor to it as if it was old and spoiled. But I think the worst part was picking up my sandwich to discover what it was sitting on. A bed of slimy, black, rotted lettuce. Needless to say, our $63.00 meal hit the trash can. I’m a firm believer in second chances but our last order from this place had a piece of gravel in the chef salad and approximately 1 in of fluid/water? in the bottom of our chicken parm tray. We will never spend another penny at this establishment. A side note… I couldn’t believe how dirty the dining area carpet is… yes, we got to go orders but the gross carpet is visible upon entering.
