We are staying at HoJos and decided to try Christopher’s for a light dinner. It was a weeknight in December so we joined a few of what seemed to be regulars at the bar, as the dining room was otherwise empty. Our bartender was very attentive and the wings and potato wedges we ordered came out quick and delicious. The whole experience would have been five star if it wasn’t for the f-bomb laced banter between some of the regulars around the bar and staff. It seemed as if this was the usual casual behavior that is considered acceptable by the owner of the establishment. It is unfortunate because it would have been so much more enjoyable without the profanity.

This is a pub!! Pub people are friendly…bartenders are good… food is fresh hot and delicious. Most of the patrons are locals…so we had good food and drinks in a fun busy atmosphere with good bartenders!!! It was fun!

TOMS RIVER: We are happy a local told us about Christopher’s Pub & Grill Toms River because it is the type of bar where everybody knows your name. More than just a hotel bar at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Toms River, Christopher’s is a great spot to meet up with friends, enjoy a friendly environment, indulge in a meal from an American-style food menu & a full-bar menu, and bring your well behaved and leashed pup along (the hotel is also dog friendly!). The menu is full of favorites and the environment has warm tones.

It was a good hangout but now I have second thoughts I’m getting very bad vibes . It’s too much negativity gossip etc. That’s all I can say. Too much favoritism there. Oh well that’s life. Maybe if things were better than maybe I will change my mind. Anyways have a happy Thanksgiving.

After pickup supplies from Lowes and Home Depot, yesterday for my next outdoor project with help from Amanda, son in law – Joe and their new truck.
Went out for a late lunch – dinner.
Enjoyable atmosphere, friendly people and good food.
Today it was pizza for me, onion soup, house salad and curly fries with gravy.
Kit, Amanda and Joe each had a hamburger, crunchy chicken sandwich and a tuna melt.

Awesome food, service, atmosphere! 1st time here cause were staying in the Hotel and came down for dinner. The waitress was amazing! Had 80’s music playing, all the tv’s were playing different sports games. We’re we sat I noticed there was a disco ball, signs on the beams, neons lights, just was a cool place!!

Atmosphere is a little cramped feeling could use some updating lighten the place up change up tables I think it may really help bring more people there…I don’t go there often like 1st time in like 4 or 5 yrs looks dull bit dreary…Food was good Parmigiano garlic wings were great potato skins were great also…workers were great…

Attached to Howard Johnson’s, Christopher’s is a great place to grab a bite. The bar there is nice, fun crowd that perks up when a band is playing or karaoke is going on.
