Christopher’s Bistro has a great atmosphere, I recently was there on Valentine’s day and really enjoyed my experience. Let me tell you, this place was packed for a reason. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. I was really impressed with the holiday drink menu, I got the Death By Chocolate and absolutely loved it. The food was great as well, I had the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer. Overall a great dining experience.

This is the second year in a row that we’ve held our team’s annual year-in-reflection, awards, and New Year kickoff celebration at Christopher’s Bistro in Chester, NY, and we truly can’t say enough great things about our experience.
From the initial scheduling and planning all the way through the end of the event, everything was absolutely flawless. Christopher’s Bistro has a private room that is perfect for intimate, cozy, and fun gatherings, making it an ideal spot for team events, celebrations, and small private parties in Chester and Orange County, NY.
The food and drink options were excellent, beautifully prepared, and enjoyed by everyone. The service was spot on, attentive, professional, and seamless throughout the evening, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the event.

Went here for the 1st time with my family on Friday October 11th 2024 for my mom’s birthday. located in a small strip mall, may look odd from the outside, but the inside is gorgeous! it is a small restaurant. Since it is a small restaurant, you may have to wait a while. we got greeted by the hostess, who told us that there was a 30 minute wait, and most of the tables were full. We waited by the bar, and had a drink while we waited. the bartender was very insightful, and made really good drinks. We asked if they had cherry vodka, but the bartender recommended Ciroc red Berry vodka, which is in their strawberry lemonade drink. We started with 3 Ciroc Red Berry Vodka with sprite. they were very good. Before you know it, it must have been maybe 20/15 minutes, our table was ready. before leaving and paying with the bartender, my dad got the strawberry lemonade drink.They also have lots of speciality cocktails, such as an pumpkin expresso martini, and more! We then sat at our table, and our server was very nice, and greeted us right away. We got 3 waters, and i got strawberry lemonade drink for myself. We decided on some appetizers, we got the pretzel’s, and spinach dip. I and my mom, thought the Pretzel was going to be stuffed with cheese and the meat. When it came, it was on top, but that can be a good thing– because i tried the Pretzels and thought it wasn’t bad. i definitely enjoyed the spinach dip more. We ordered our entries, and our server was great about giving us time to decide what we wanted, and told us the specials, such as another salmon with an extra sauce. I got the Seafood Fri Diablo, my dad got cajun pasta with sausage, and my mom got some chicken dish. Server did a good job checking on us, and refilling our waters if needed. I also used the women’s bathroom, and it was very clean- single stall though. We all enjoyed our food, and took home some of the spinach dip, my seafood fri diablo, and both my mom and dad’s meals. Only issue was that fri diablo is a bit spicy and when i tasted the pasta, it gave off a bit of a spice taste. However, there was plenty of clams, shrimp, calamari, and scallops to eat, and those hit the spot! next time i would ask to make the fri diablo milder. Overall great food! Our server supplied us with the check, paid via credit card, and left a cash tip. Hope to be back some other time!

Amazing restaurant. We are visiting them long island because we are going to a wedding this weekend. We needed a place to eat and found this place online. The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing and the staff was great. Such a great choice.

Food here is worth your time. The wings are crispy on the outside but not dry on the inside. Yam fries are great for people who like themselves. I got a chicken burger and the portion size and taste was fantastic. They use thick pickles if you dig that. Basically a great place.

This place is a small bar and dining area. It gets busy on Fridays and the weekend, and we can understand why. The food was delicious and service was great. You could smell all the quality dishes coming from the kitchen. We had the Tuna tostadas as an apatizer. I wish I had taken a photo, but we gobbled them up. Everything about it was so good (crispy shells, tasty and perfectly paired sauces that were crafted with quality in mind). Truly. It was very well done.
Dinner was just as great. I had the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken sandwich with Parmesan fries. My companion had the Pan seared salmon. We were both very delighted.
We went on a Friday around rush hour-ish, where it was still early but folks were starting to come in. If you want a quieter atmosphere, I’d suggest getting there on the earlier side as it seems like it can get filled up, though I will say that the tables were decently spaced apart and roomy. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. I will go again. It would probably be great for a weeknight dinner too.
