The restaurant is in a strip mall and would be seen as ” dive”. However, we went because of the cars, so we knew it was good…which it is!!! I’ve had baked spaghetti, chicken and dumplings twice and country ham. My hubby is stuck on roast pork and gravy or meatloaf. All meals come with however many sides you want. Everything has been exceptional. I have to also recommend the caramel pie, which is made on site. Extremely rich so best to share. Serena is usually our waitress. She seems to know everyone’s name, if they are sick, how family is, etc. She is friendly, patient and works 6 days/ week. Small town USA! BEST part is meat and 3 runs less than $10. It is a diamond in the rough and Lafayette should be thankful!

I had the #12 steak and eggs, with grits and sourdough bread. If you are looking for a good protein meal this would be great. It was good, more than you would expect for a breakfast diner steak. I would definitely order this again if I’m in the area.

We enjoyed this meat and three. Serena was a wonderful server and definitely will go back. The food was excellent and it had the small town atmosphere that we moved to Macon County for several years back.

This is a traditional hole in the wall country restaurant, and that’s a COMPLIMENT because the food is sooo good! The service was great and I love the cute atmosphere! You have to put this on your “places to go” list. You won’t regret it! We had fried green tomatoes, roast beef, mashed potatoes, burgers, and potato skins. It was ALL amazing!! We were so full we didn’t even get to the desserts. I’m definitely going to come back!

Came here for Breakfast with my family and it was fantastic! From the friendly, family like service to the food, just a wonderful experience all around. They had a special for country fried steak, so we had to try that and I’m glad we did. It was delicious! And you cannot stop here without trying their sausage Gravy and biscuits. Definitely would go back!

We love Good country meat & 3’s. It’s been hard to find one that has the flavor, Christine’s has it. We have only eaten here once but was very happy. We will be going again. Chicken livers are hand battered on site, Turnip greens seemed from a can but were seasoned well, real mashed potatoes. A+
