Wow, I am very impress with the pizza here. We made a quick lunch stop before a train ride and I was not expecting such great quality. Great selection, extremely affordable prices/great value and the pizza slice was delicious. Perfectly balanced and fresh ingredients, and the base was cooked perfectly with a good amount of crisp and no sogginess. Very happy with this place – highly recommend. I’m considering a second slice as I type this!

I have literally tried thousands of pizzerias from across the country. This place sucks. The owners know nothing about giving the customer what they want. The only way I could get delivery to my hotel was to order an extra large pizza!!!! It is false advertising that they sell pizza by the slice, which is how you SHOULD buy their product, because the pizza is not good enough to order an extra large 18” pizza for one person!!!!!!!!!!! With tax, service charge, delivery fee, and tip I had to spend over $45 to sample their food and it was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT! I really wanted to modify my order but they also up-charge you for any substitutions, and because of the stupid Slice app they use you can’t even remove items from the pizza. The owners here obviously don’t care anymore. Where is the cheese? I could see the tomato sauce through the thin Veil of cheese. The salad came only with lettuce and tomatoes; no cheese, no onions, and no croutons, but somebody decided that black olives should be included somehow? This place is a joke and the food is definitely not worth it. Don’t waste your money here. Just another restaurant with clueless owners that don’t care or know how to produce good food that people want. I’ve already wasted too much of my time on this review.

This pizza spot is located conveniently in the Downtown Mall area of Charlottesville and always has customers dining both in and outside every time I pass it!
Tonight after a day of shopping, driving, skating, we decided to pick up something quick near our apartment and chose to try Cristian’s!
Upon entering on a slower Sunday night, my friend and I walked to the counter where many pizza were on display with toppings ready to re-heat on the oven for you! Reminds me of Sbarro in that they heat it up for you to melt the cheese and toppings and crisp the crust! I chose what looked like a fully loaded veggie slice filled with artichokes, olives, mushrooms, garlic, and spinach! I noticed there was no cheese on that particular type (probably pre-made Vegan) so I asked if I could have it topped with cheese and of course it was no problem!
The employees were super friendly and in great moods which is always a plus! I also chose a Margherita slice, mushroom slice, and traditional cheese. Not all for me sadly! If you would like to order by the full pie you can do that too! They also have calzones, and salads to choose from! Call ahead for larger orders and full pies, show up on the spot to see what’s new at the moment!
There are many bottled drinks available for purchase as well as fountain sodas, sweet tea, and lemonade.
The pizzas were all delicious and served New York style! Crispy, crusty, edges, with a softer middle and melty cheese. So yummy and easy!

The man behind the counter was so nice and explained what my choices were. I got the spinach feta and it was truly amazing!!! My very picky daughter got the chicken alfredo and ate the whole thing. My flabbers were gastted. I’ve never seen her even like pizza. And it was $12 for both of us, what a steal. When we return to Charlottesville, we’ll be back here.

Recommend this place for one of the few budget meals on the mall. Iwas pleasantly surprised at the value of this place. Calzones for $7.50. The slice of specialty pizza is $4.50. Seating options outside are available as well.
