Had a first time dine in and it was amazing. A must stop restaurant when you visit the valley. Food was really delicious with perfect blend of spices. Tried beef fry, chicken biryani, mutton biryani, chemmeen mango curry schezuan fried rice and naan, everything was finger licking good. Service was great.
Would definitely recommend.

Recently hired Chrismaria Family Restaurant to provide food for our daughter’s birthday party on October 5th, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, and all our guests were satisfied with the variety and quality. Everything was well-prepared, and it contributed to making the celebration a great time for everyone. We highly recommend Chrismaria for any event, as they delivered great service and delicious food!

Totally enjoyed my experience here. Menu has ample unexpected items. We ordered chicken chilly, Hakka noodles, chicken fried rice and chicken wings combo. Everything was delicious and we could feel the quality as we were eating. The price range is pretty economical. Very happy to have been here. Most recommended.

Came for lunch on a Friday with a table of 4 and the food was excellent! The portions are generous, and we were happy to eat every last bite. It took about 30min for our order to come up, and it was well worth the wait! The pakora were the biggest I’ve ever seen! We’ll definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed. I went to this restaurant expecting freshly made butter chicken, but they gave me ready-made frozen butter chicken instead. It didn’t taste fresh at all—more like something you’d get from a grocery store freezer. For the price I paid, I expected real restaurant-quality food. Honestly, you’re better off just buying frozen butter chicken from Walmart—at least then you know what you’re getting. Not happy and won’t be coming back.

We ordered takeout tonight from Chrismaria Restaurant. They just opened a new location close to us in Kingston, so it seemed like an easy Saturday night meal.
We went to their website to order, clicked on the “Order Online” button, and added items to the menu. Our order contained 2 veggie samosas, Lamb Vindaloo, Green Chicken, and 4 buttered naans. The vindaloo and chicken came with steamed basmati rice. We also added mint chutney for the samosas and some sour pickle. It came to approx. $85 before tax.
We finished placing the order and my husband went to pick it up. He was told there was no order placed. Upon looking into it further, it turned out that the website had directed the order to the New Minas location. At no point during the order process did it ask us to choose a location. My husband had to drive to New Minas to get the order, and when he informed them of the issues with the website they were completely unapologetic.
We’ve eaten a lot of Indian food over the years. This was ok, but nothing to write home about. We asked for our dishes to be made with the higher spice levels. The samosas were pretty good but I’m not sure that what came with them was the mint chutney – it looked more like cranberry sauce and tasted nothing like mint. A 1-ounce container cost $1.99. The naans were extremely thin and chewy – there was no sign of butter. They were priced at $3.99 each. The vindaloo was hot but certainly not what I would call “Very spicy”. The green chicken was absolutely not spicy but it was the most flavourful dish out of everything and we enjoyed it. The portions seemed small for the price.
We’ve tried Chrismaria twice now, first when they opened, and then tonight. The first time was not good, this time was an improvement, but there are much better options in the Annapolis Valley for Indian food.

Cozy and quiet. Delicious and reasonably priced food, and great service. 10/10. Will be back. The naan is fresh baked and just excellent.
