My friends and I were thrilled to find this gem for dinner last night! They’re in the basement of a beautiful church and serve an array of Liberian food, including a vegan menu. Chrisetta was so warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Her Mom was visiting from Liberia.
Be careful with that hot sauce, y’all!
It’s a take out spot but the church is welcoming and we were able to eat there (we drove in from out of town on a very cold night).

Absolute hidden gem in West Chester. Amazing service, delicious food, great prices and portions. Most notably, they are very inclusive to all dietary restrictions, allergies and spice tolerances. Do not be afraid to approach the food if you haven’t experienced African food before.

So excited to have this new delicious option in the Borough! I can never turn down any country’s version of a dumpling / empanada so I had to try Chrisetta’s meat pie and it was outstanding! Also ordered the Check Rice and Gravy which was delicious and a very large portion. Everything so fresh and made to order. I can’t wait to try the other options next!

As a fellow Liberian, there aren’t any Liberian food places in the area, so this was a pleasant surprise. I’ve been there twice, and the food is delicious, portions are large and she offers a variety is dishes, even though she just opened. Can’t wait to try the other items she has on her menu, as well as what’s to come! Congrats!
