The dinner menu is also difficult to read as you can see in others’ pictures, with each line being a sentence about a different dish.
The crab cake stuffed portobello mushrooms includes 5 bite sized baby Bella mushrooms. At $18 that’s $3.60 per bite. The seared scallops are also $18 for only 3 scallops.
The lobster bisque soup:
My partner got the bisque and the lobster in it was overcooked, but the sauce was amazing, and the only reason I would ever consider going back. At $6/cup or $12/ bowl the price is more reasonable.
The French onion soup:
I ordered was good enough, but they make it with some sort of meat that tastes like pot roast, which I do not like and did not expect to have meat in French onion soup.
The Lobster Truffle Fettuccine with Cheese Sauce:
They no longer use truffle but haven’t updated the menu. Without the truffle, this dish is literally just the cup of lobster bisque over fettuccine. At $33 I was expecting more. The soup alone is $6 meaning they charge an additional ~$27 to add fettuccine.
I still enjoyed the dish as it tasted identical to the soup which I enjoyed, but it is 100% not worth the price increase. Take the cup of soup home and put it over your own pasta.
The Crème Brulèe Cheesecake:
They decorate the plate with caramel but none on the Cheesecake itself. It didn’t taste like anything special and we did not like the crust. At $11 for a single slice of “just okay” Cheesecake, I regret not just stopping at the store on the way home to buy a whole Cheesecake for $15-$20.
The staff was very friendly and able to answer all questions asked and I have only good things to say about the service we received.
Overall verdict: I do not have the disposable income to spend this much on food that disappoints me.
The customer service was great. I came during lunch & the server accommodated me by making the lamb chops which I’m thankful for. It was bit weird as he took the menu b/4 I could add a side, lol.
The vibe of this place was pretty lo-key, but the food & drinks left something to be desired.
If you are in the area, give them a try.
