If you are driving by, do stop by and eat here at Chris & MJs. This husband and wife team provide excellent food, with personal culinary story, in a picturesque setting. Grab a chair to eat inside at the modern style cafe or outside in a well manicured garden. I passed it once thinking it was a B&B but I will never forget on our next trip to the Berkshire area.

Go for lunch or bring home for dinner! Great spot with unique, tasty, homemade food that you can’t otherwise find in this area. And the owners are so kind. They provide samples so you can pick what you’d like. Generous portions at a very reasonable price. A local gem!

What a refreshing change to this very rural area. Some of the best Filipino food I’ve had in recent memory (certainly on the East Coast).
They are getting their bearings as a newly opened eatery but I’ve been impressed with their quality control and execution. Feeling very confident they are here to stay!

This is one of the easiest 5 star reviews I’ve ever given. My wife and I were heading up to the Berkshires over Christmas. Chris and MJs wasn’t too far from where we were staying so decided to try it out. In short: if you are driving within a 30 minute radius of the restaurant, you’d be a FOOL for not stoping to eat or grabbing some to go.
Chris and MJ are the loveliest people, liked by their community, welcoming and warm.
They cook some seriously amazing food, so amazing that we decided to come back only a couple of days after our first visit.

The team of MJ and Chris offer it all. They are terrific, personable hosts and will let you sample the different entree choices before you make your selection. The food never disappoints and is always prepared to perfection! I chose their beef and onions, prepared with calamansi (a Philippine fruit with hints of orange, lime and lemon). Today’s side offerings of local sweet corn and beets are some of the best I’ve ever had. Eat in or take out, they also have a dessert of the day (or 2) and a free treat by the door on your way out. I’ve seen Bing cherries, mandarin oranges, etc. Small and cozy dining area near a fireplace.10 out of 10.

Wow – I randomly stumbled across Chris and MJs coming home from a hike in the Berkshires recently and I am so glad I did!
The chicken tortilla soup was genuinely the best version I’ve ever had.The blueberry shortcake dessert was wonderfully creative and executed to perfection. It’s not often you find a dessert that’s both innovative and absolutely delicious.
Beyond the exceptional food, the hosts (I assume Chris and MJ themselves, though I must confess I didn’t ask their names) were incredibly welcoming and kind. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that was delightful.
Everything we ate showcased the kitchen’s attention to detail and commitment to quality. The flavors were spot-on, portions were generous, and the overall experience was fantastic.
Chris and MJs has earned a loyal customer – we’ll definitely be back the next time we are in the Berkshires. Thanks for a great meal!

If I could rate this restaurant 10 stars, I would. The food is authentic and every bite is SO delicious! The husband and wife team are amazing and you can tell they are passionate about the business. The menu changes daily, so there is always a new surprise. And, you can do take out or sit in the adorable seating areas inside or out! The only downside is that the restaurant is too far from our house! We wish it was closer as we would make this a regular stop! Keep it up, Chris and MJ!!
