The food is pretty mid. We are doing a dinner visit, so you’d assume that for the dinner rush a decent amount of fresh food would be cooked, but most of it is pretty old tasting. Not that much more is to be expected from a buffet. The atmosphere and service is alright. Its about the same atmosphere you’d get a golden corral. The service was pretty great. The waiters/waitresses were very attentive and polite. It is not awful, but it is not the best either.

Rapper King Stevian visited Chow Time in Tallahassee while promoting his new Amazon release “Folded”. The food was great and we had to get a to go plate. Would’ve stayed longer but our nightly tour had one more location. The cashier and the waitress was friendly but we did have our table server walk off, the tip we gave I think went to the waitress. We’ll be back but patience is key to everything.

7.22.25 – My 14yo daughter and I visited around 4.30pm and stayed about an hour. The dining area that we were seated in wasn’t the cleanest nor was it the most presentable. There were 2 guys (1 with a silver-blue layered cut; 1 with short black hair) who stood in the room the entire time as we and other diners ate. I was a bit uncomfortable with that as I thought: “the only reason for them to stay (the entire time) is to be nearby to offer refills, remove soiled plates/utensils, to clean the trashy area of the room (see pics), etc. Instead my daughter and I were NEVER offered refills our entire stay. I refused to ask since they were using their devices and earpieces while standing very near us. We watched the guy with black hair offer a table of Latinas and a table of Whites refills. We were the ONLY table of folks with a dark complexion. It was after we finished our meals that we reflected on that aspect of the visit.
We watched all of the food we wanted being put out; so the bar looked fresh and well-stocked. I saw staff wiping down the bar. HOWEVER, the sushi guy (bald/buzz cut with a cap) had a horrible wet cough which he refused to cover while handling the sushi ingredients. My daughter and I heard him barking; then we saw him coughing over food items.
The bathroom was horrible! See my picture please… A dirty bathroom translates to lazy and inconsiderate staff. The restaurant wasn’t so busy that it could not have been tended to. In fact, a waitress with a long black ponytail walked in before me and she had to see what I captured. For now, I don’t see a reason for my family to patronize them again

So much food. Nice service. Payment is good to me if you have it. You can make. Your own ramen bowl .I haven’t tried it yet. I can’t wait to try sushi again as well. I am full. But I still want more. The only thing for me. I need get a month pass. Instead of paying individually each visit.

It’s my favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh, properly seasoned, and the variety is amazing. They even have a hibachi bar where they cook the food in front of you and over 20 kinds of sushi as well.

First, it’s got one of the biggest selections of food items available, everything from raw and fresh, to fried and comfort and even a few surprises like grilling your own habachi bowl of ingredients right in front of you!
Secondly, service is great! I commend all the hardworking individuals who are committed to cleanliness, fresh food rotation, and staying on top of your drink refills.
Lastly, the atmosphere is spacious and comfortable! The only reason I can’t give it a five star here is simply because the place can get crowded and packed at nights, especially on holidays or special occasions. This night that I was eating was not too crowded however, and it was a Monday night.
Overall, keep up the wonderful job! I will definitely recommend this to others and be back again soon!

Food was good but employee had a very nasty attitude to start with when seating us, snatched my card as I was going to pay for it then didn’t even hand me my card back, sat it on the counter for me to get it. Like what’s wrong with being nice to people, it was no reason to be rude. Now if I would’ve snatched my card back then I would’ve been the problem. Don’t dish out anything you wouldn’t be able to handle yourself. Ps. Expects tips when service is poor

There is such a huge variety of food! I love seafood, and this is seafood heaven! There are fish, sushi, crawfish, different types of shrimp, and mussels. Other types of meat include steak, chicken, and I don’t remember what else. There are many different kinds of soup, grains, veggies, fruit, and desserts. Dessert includes selections of ice cream, cake, and pudding. I like that there is a Hibachi grill, where you can select your food and have someone fry it for you. The buffet is HUGE! It was really a treat to eat here.

We were seated promptly on both visits, and the wait staff are very pleasant and helpful.
I’m a big fan of most types of Asian food, but I didn’t find anything here that was outstanding. Some of the dishes were cold, as if they had been made in advance and then reheated for the serving line. I can understand why they would do this, given the huge number of dishes on offer.
Still, $42 for 2 people (including soft drink and a tip) seems a bit much for what you get.
