Don’t believe the negative hype! Like any all-you-can-eat restaurant, the best time to go is when they first open. I’ve been going there for years and have no major complaints. For 11.95 (lunch) and 17.95 (dinner), you definitely get your money’s worth. Great selection of food for the price and the items are flavorful. Everyone’s palat is different and people that only eat at expensive restaurants may be a bit descriminate and will have a mental road block but just because a meal is expensive doesn’t always equate to good food.
I personally think the food is delicious but you will need to try it and be your own judge.

It’s really nothing to complain about! The price for the lunch buffet alone will keep me coming! 11.99 for several seafood dishes, variety of chicken wings and dishes, and Fresh veggies and dont forget HIBACHI! for 11.99!!. Staff is friendly and attentive to the cleanliness of the buffet and dining room! 10/10 recommended

I’m sorry but I will never eat here again and I am not one to even leave reviews but the professionalism here was terrible.
I went here two days ago (2/2) for their lunch buffet and the food was terrible, sushi was sticky and stale, buffet food was not good quality majority of the food me and my friend had was cold or seem to have been sitting out for a while. We tried to go back around for seconds but nothing really was replenished. So we like we were just going to leave. My friend had been there before during there evening time and was better.
Once we started to leave and walked up to the front the guy was very rude from the jump. We told him about to food and we just could not eat here from the buffet and get our money worth of food is not to the standard. He argues that the food is fresh and comes out as is and we like that not the case right now and you can see that. So we like well can we at least get a Togo plate of fresh food for our trouble, he goes and take the receipt off our table and say we have to pay. Then say Togo is charge by pound and we would have to pay for both. I’m like we are not doing that and proceeds to ask for a manager and was denied. Being that I had to work and this was a quick lunch for us. I didn’t have time for the back and forth and not trying to be in trouble with the law for walking out of a restaurant as they already have pics up of people doing such already.
So I call there today (2/4) and ask to speak with a manager and they say no and hang up. I called back and say hey you hung up before I could ask when will she be in, he says next week as he think she is on vacation! This has been the crazy experience I have ever encountered and just say check out the food before yall make yall decisions or go when it’s busy the food may be better.

This was our first time visiting here. The buffet is HUGE, with a multitude of options to choose from. The sushi bar was really good. My son usually never eats Chinese, but he ate an entire plate of food here. If we lived closer to the location, we would definitely come back often.

The restaurant was clean, seating was spacious and quiet and the food area was constantly replenished. The food was fresh, but was lacking flavor. The broccoli chicken was wonderful. My husband had the ribs and they were tough and under seasoned.

Our visit to Chow King was absolutely terrible. I came with my family of eight expecting a decent meal, but the entire experience was a disaster from the very beginning. The lighting was dim, the air was stuffy, and there was a strong, unpleasant smell all over the restaurant.
The food selection was poor, repetitive, and extremely greasy — most dishes looked and tasted the same, with oil dripping from everything, especially the fried crab sticks and shrimp. The tables weren’t clean at all; we found greasy stains as soon as we sat down.
Even worse, they seated us right beside the kitchen entrance, where cleaning supplies were clearly visible. It completely ruined any dining atmosphere. When our teenage daughter didn’t eat anything except a small piece of fruit, the staff showed no understanding or flexibility and still charged the full price.
Overall, the food quality, cleanliness, and service were far below any acceptable standard. I strongly do not recommend this place to anyone — you will simply feel nauseous being there.

Stopped in for lunch as I have an odd enjoyment of Chinese Buffets. This was a refreshing approach, even if it was basically the same things you find at a Chinese buffet. Nothing you would not expect. The pice as good. One plate of whatever you get is worth the price.

There was no wait to be seated, but service was still slow, especially when it came to drink refills. The buffet food was not hot, which is a major issue.
As I was finishing my meal, I saw two roaches crawling on the floor. When I informed the waiter, there was no apology, concern, or urgency — complete indifference.
Lukewarm buffet food, poor service, and visible roaches are a hard no. Do not recommend.

My son and daughter in law brought me there for the first time and I will never go back. The food sucked and the lady the was waiting on us she stood over my son when he got his wallet out and started just hanging around until he gave her a tip and she really didn’t do anything for it. She even counted the tip in front of us. Never going back
