My experience at Chow Daddy’s is always amazing! It’s me and my best friend’s favorite spot each time we go to Bluffton! The atmosphere is always warm and friendly as well as the food and drinks. I love their burgers and they probably have some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Lastly, when you visit also ensure that you order their delicious cornbread as an appetizer! Hands down the best! Until my next visit!

Chow Daddy’s has been a good go-to place for supper every time we come to Bluffton with family. This time, I made the mistake of ordering a regular spicy shrimp taco. I didn’t realize that the slaw it was served with had cilantro mixed in, and I have the cilantro gene that makes it taste like a soapy dish rag. So it tasted rather strange to me. I asked them for a different taco without cilantro and they happily obliged, bringing me a much more tasty grilled spicy shrimp taco instead. They took the original one off the bill and everything was phenomenal. Service was kind and prompt and the manager was very kind and professional about the whole thing, acknowledging that the cilantro thing was a common happening at the restaurant. I will definitely be coming back to Chow Daddy’s any time I hit Bluffton, and I suggest you do too!

Was greeted at the door and seated by our server Kat. We ordered Guac & Chips, Grilled Chicken Taco and a Fried Chicken Taco. Excellent Guac by the way. All the food was good and we would try other menu items the next time we return. I like the way the menu is set up so you order an individual taco at a time so that you can try more than one kind during a visit.

Chow Daddy’s is our usual place to eat. Usually very good. Had the barbecue chicken taco and corn dip. Dip was great but the tacos had a lot to be desired. First thing I noticed was that they use dark meat which we never eat. Picked all the chicken and ate what was left. You would think the server would have noticed. She had no clue. Just very disappointed. Wish it had been better as we don’t eat out very often and it was our anniversary.

Please pardon the picture… I had already eaten several fries. I had the American Cheeseburger – best, BEST hamburger ever! You could tell it was handmade…not frozen nor pre-made. And the Sweet Potato fries are out of this world. If you are in the Bluffton / Hilton Head area, this is a MUST.
Additionally, the staff was friendly and courteous. I usually don’t care too much about restaurant atmospheres but that was great, too. I really liked the background music.
This is a restaurant I will now go to every time I am in the area.

This is a great burger place. The fries are top-notch! We had a pleasant laid-back dining experience. The atmosphere is cute without being kitschy. We went during a low-key time on a Sunday. I’m not sure how the wait or service is during prime dinner time.

Place has a nice atmosphere and appeared clean. Polite server opened the door for me on the way in and the way out greeting us and saying goodbye. Our server was friendly and did a good job. Overall, food was good. The reason I gave 3 stars only is because in our opinion, the price of our meal was high for what we ordered and the type of restaurant it is. Husband had pulled chicken and avocado sandwich, which he enjoyed. It does not come with a side. He ordered sweet potato fries, which were $4 and the portion was very small. He’s not a big guy and normally doesn’t eat much, but he hobbled it up pretty quickly. I had the fried chicken tacos. They don’t come with a side either. I got $3 shoe string fries and portion was a little bigger. Tacos tasted very good, but as you can see by the photo, the piece of chicken was tiny. Basically the first half of the taco was good and the second half was vegetarian. We both drank water. The bill was $30. So, if you plan to eat here, food was good… at least what we ate, but beware portions are small and prices are a little on the high side for what you get.
