All, of course, spiced with with plenty of fish sauce (nuoc mam), chili-garlic sauce, and/or hoisin sauce in nearby dipping dishes. It’s an unusual melange of cooked rice noodles, raw vegetables and herbs, and shaved raw meat or seafood that cooks in the broth just as it’s brought to table. Phó, as it’s known, is now hugely popular in the United States.

The meat in the pho (P3) was kind of grey, tough, and tasteless like it had been boiled until all the flavor was gone.
The Bun Bo Hue (D4) used the wrong noodles and was basically tasteless.
Would not return or recommend this place.
We recently discovered Chopsticks.
The food, no matter what I order is consistently delicious.
I recommend them.
Our meal cost around $40.00 for 2 people; not bad for prople who eat out almost every day.
Honestly, everything was fine. The food was authentic, fresh, and served hot. It just needed more! More pickled vegetables on the Bahn mi. More sauce on the crispy noodles (the best past is when everything sort of mixes together at the end). More veggies in the pho. Because the food is so true to original form, it had a chance to be great… just deliver on the spices and balanced flavors that already exist.
The pho broth specifically was a miss for us. It was beautifully clear. Someone took time to make it, but but was very very heavy on the sesame oil. I didn’t get the clove, or cinnamon that is typically there. Also, there isn’t a “bbq” or spicy broth option, which is fast way to pack flavor.
To note, We have a lot of kids, and they did a great bringing extra plates and were good about letting them enjoy their food.
This place was packed. And I think it could be great. It’s just needs a nudge.
