The worst tasting Chinese food in Anchorage. Ordered the tempura srimp for 19.99 today at the 5th avenue mall. The grease is old, and food is over cooked. The food looks good on the pictured menu, shows 5 pieces of shrimp, there were only 4 overcooked. Even the 1st bite tasted horrible. I thought at least the rice would be good, but it tastes like instant rice. I tried to call them, but the number listed said the number is not in service. Do not recommend to eat there, it is a waste of my $. I can’t see how they can stay in business with that quality of food. ?? Maybe others might like it.

Ate about six bites before I gave up on it. Food was old and had a slimmy taste to it. Absolutely horrible!

I stopped here for a late lunch at 2:20 PM on 8/15/2022. Place was not busy so I was expecting fresh food. I ordered the $12.99 special shrimp and orange chicken. The rice tastes like it was made at 9 am this morning and not good. The noodles taste about the same. I was shocked to see ONLY 2 small shrimp and 2 pieces of small chicken.

I definitely recommend you stay away from this place. No quality and bad taste with little meat/seafood.

I would give this place 1/2 star if I could.

I love love love the food here. My favorite is beef broccoli with fried rice and extra sauce it is amazing I get it every weekend that I can I live out in the valley and I make a special trip sometimes just to get my Chinese food. They’re so friendly so nice don’t custom order whatever you’d like and the prices are more than fair to me. I would and have recommended this place to many people

Chopsticks, not great at all. The portion was very small and the rice was crap. The only thing they had going for them was it was fast. I got 2 orders of sesame chicken. We got I think 5 small pieces of chicken. The sauce was extremely thinned. The rice was old and crusty.

Food was watery, Tasteless, not freshly cooked, all the food was already precooked and was more than likely microwaved to heat back up FIRST and LAST time EVER GOING THERE!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON POORLY “COOKED” FOOD!!!

This is the worst food I’ve bought in Anchorage. I rarely read negative reviews but if I had read the reviews here I would have gone somewhere else. Anywhere else. The employees were nice with no problems but the food was not worth it. I spent $70 on 4 meals: chicken noodle soup, chicken teriyaki plate, and 2 chicken katsu plates with fried rice. The chicken noodle soup was bland and chicken was rubbery. The fried rice was dry and weird. The Teri Chicken was cooked well but the teri sauce was bland. The chicken katsu was fresh and tasted great but the katsu sauce was gross. The soda was watered down and the trays were sticky as well.

I agree with other reviews, food is not good at all, pricey, and the service is bad.

Ate here 8/14/24 on my last day of vacation in Alaska. After a week of instant ramen and granola bars in the Alaskan wilderness, I was really looking forward to finally eating some real food. Boy was I disappointed. The food is overpriced, portion sizes small, and tastes like it was made a week ago. I ordered the Chicken Katsu from an owner who seemed like he did not want to be there for an outrageous 15 dollars, and watched as he microwaved my 3rd-grader-sized meal before serving it to me on a styrofoam plate. The breading on the chicken fell apart as I bit into it, the “yakisoba” was made with spaghetti noodles, and the dipping sauce was just hoisin sauce in a plastic container. The only thing I could taste the entire time was salt. On a not so negative note, the environment was decent (felt like every other food court ever), and service was relatively fast (although likely because my food was microwaved). I really wish I had read the reviews before having my last meal in Alaska here, would not recommend and will not be coming back if I’m ever up here again.
