Chops has consistently exceeded expectations in Fort Wayne fine dining year after year. They offer steaks and seafood, served with two, house chosen, sides (but you can substitute no problem), & soup or salad. The cocktail, wine, and beer list are broad enough for everyone to find their favorite. If you’re looking for a recommendation, try the hanger steak or ahi tuna. The servers are knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. Although located in a strip mall, they have done a great job making the space feel comfortable, chic, distinctive with their own style. Whether an evening with friends or a special occasion out with your love, Chops is a good choice.

Horrible! My husband & I thought it would be nice to order dinner to go for my bday. Wrong! Our food was disgusting. My husband’s salad looked more like coleslaw & barely had any of the $8 chicken that we paid extra for. My kale salad had more chicken which was hard as a rock & some other foreign white slab of meat on it. I asked for no dressing bc I can not have honey, which the dressing was a honey vinaigrette & it was covered completely. So needless to say neither one of us was able to eat our dinner. We will never spend our money here again!!

Learned a lesson Saturday night while visiting Chops. If I’m to come back, I’ll ask if there are any large parties the night I want to visit ( if so, I would not come ).. Saturday a party larger than 40 or so people ( from what we were told ) dined. This caused my wife and I an hour and a half wait due to the kitchen being so busy. On top of that we were stuck in the lonely dark corner in the bar where the waitress consistently forgot about us. I don’t blame her though, I’m pretty sure she was swamped from this large party.

Met with our friends to celebrate 4 of our August birthdays. Apps were awesome. Spicy beef rolls were the best of all. Drinks were on point. Black and Bleu steak melted in my mouth. Meat I have ever had. Also our server was phenomenal. Also received awesome birthday brownies for us to share for our special day so that was great as well. Have been here for lunches so first time for dinner. Great experience and atmosphere. Will for sure be back!
