Super friendly and welcoming staff. As a first time customer, the server making my bowl helped walk me through the steps to build the perfect bowl! Lots of options to pick from. Great portion sizes. It was super fresh tasting, made me feel like I was back in Hawaii getting my favorite poke bowl! Service counter and restaurant was very clean.

We’re talking FRESH! I got a small bowl and it was huge. Super fresh spicy tuna (my fav), ultra carefulness and cleanliness, this is the perfect poke place. I’ve been to a few, but Choppa Poke is the best I’ve been to so far. Giving it 5 stars.

In this area of Goleta there is not a ton of unique food choices, but Choppa Poke is one of them. This is a great stop for picking up lunch. Generous portions of protein, there are cooked and raw choices, and all the sauces are different and good. Service has been quick and they typically have all of the choices.
The ambiance of the restaurant is basically what is expected from a poke take out spot. There are a few tables but it is nothing to write home about. I never eat there so can’t comment too much. Drink selection is limited to only cans/bottles of coke.
Make sure you ask for soy sauce or hot sauce if you get take out- I usually forget that!!

I went an hour before closing (which usually staff at a food place would be super annoyed) but the staff was incredibly friendly. The fish itself tasted fresh and overall it was a great experience! You’ve earned yourself a new regular with me!
